These markets include aerospace and defense, factory automation, air and water quality environmental monitoring, electronics design and development, oceanographic research, deepwater oil and gas exploration and production, medical imaging and pharmaceutical research.\nWe are looking for individuals who thrive on making an impact and want the excitement of being on a team that wins.\nJob Description\nJob Summary\nWe are seeking a highly motivated individual to support the design, implementation and continuous improvement of our production systems\nEssential Functions\nDesign and develop manufacturing systems and processes to improve efficiency and performance\n\nMaintain and support both existing and newly implemented systems\n\nDevelop, document, and update work instructions and standard operating procedures\n\nCoordinate with vendors to obtain quotes, manage follow-ups, and support procurement activities\n\nCollaborate closely with Team Leads to understand operational needs and implement effective solutions\n\nDeliver training to personnel on systems, processes, and best practices\n\nTroubleshoot if necessary, processes and/or systems\n\nCoordinate equipment maintenance and repair services and make sure that manufacturer’s procedures and instructions are followed in order to keep production equipment operational.\n\nAnalyze and plan workflow, equipment placement and space requirements to improve manufacturing efficiency.\n\nAdditional Duties\nThis person has the authority and responsibility to report product or procedural non-conformances as they are recognized. This person is a key contributor to the Quality System in the area of Document Control.\n\nThis person will ensure that all production systems meet safety requirements\n\nAssist other areas as requested.\n\nEducation/Skill/Experience\nStrong problem-solving and communication skills\n\nSome college in related field is preferred\n\nAbility to work cross-functionally with operations and production teams\n\nExperience in a manufacturing environment is preferred\n\nProgramming experience is not required; however, familiarity with Python is a plus\n\nTeledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
