Dedication to every employee and client’s success; Innovation that matters - for our company and for the world; Trust and personal responsibility in all relationships - Teledyne Relays is EveryWhereYouLook!\nPosition Summary and Responsibilities\nResponsible for the planning and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality and cost objectives.\nPrioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, equipment and labor capacity, and material supply. Coordinates the efficient movement of work orders and materials through the manufacturing floor. Communicates weekly and monthly production plans to immediate manager.\nManages, selects, and develops floor personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function. Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas.\nPlans and administers procedures and budgets. Makes budgetary recommendations on capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor.\nWorks with engineering, manufacturing, procurement, quality, and others to achieve production schedules\nTeledyne Technologies may, at its discretion, modify or add further duties not currently listed in this general job description.\nQualifications\nThree or more years of experience as a production supervisor\nBachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university a plus\nSolid knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.\nMaterial Review Planning (MRP) knowledge required\nExperience working in the electronics industry required\nReceives assignments in the form of objectives with goals and process to meet goals outlined. \nProvides guidance to employees according to established policies and management guidance. \nWork is reviewed by management to measure meeting of objectives. \nAdministers company policies that directly affect subordinate employees. \nRecommends changes to unit or sub-unit policies. \nErroneous decisions or failure to achieve results will cause delays in schedules. \nFrequently interacts with subordinate supervisors, outside customers, and functional peer groups at various management levels. \nInteraction normally requires the ability to gain cooperation of others, conducting presentations of technical information concerning specific projects/schedules, etc. \nProvides general supervision to lower-level supervisors or direct supervision to skilled nonexempt employees (i.e., technicians).\nDue to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a \"US Person\" (US Citizens, US Nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees or refugees).\nIn our efforts to maintain a safe and drug-free workplace, Teledyne Relays requires that candidates complete a satisfactory background check and pass a drug screen prior to employment.\nPlease note thesalary range posted below is a general guideline for this job level and location.
