If you enjoy solving complex problems and leading teams toward excellence, this is a place where your work truly matters.\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nWork closely with multiple departments to clearly understand business requirements, identify risks, and manage critical paths.\nPlan and schedule the sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations, including the schedule and release of manufacturing orders as components become available.\nOwn and maintain material master data in the ERP system - lead times, safety stock, reorder points, standard lot-sizing rules, and planning parameters.\nReview and action MRP messages daily, including reschedule-in, reschedule-out, expedite, and cancel recommendations, to prevent material shortages and support strategic order placement.\nManage the execution of engineering change notices as they relate to scheduled manufacturing orders.\nEvaluate suppliers by considering price, quality, lead times and other criteria.\nMonitor supplier delivery schedules and work with Program Management on mitigation steps.\nNegotiate, obtain final quotes, and create detailed purchase requisitions for goods and services.\nCoordinate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, and Program Management to resolve material, schedule, and production constraints impacting customer requirements.\nEnsure planning and scheduling processes are followed in adherence with Teledyne’s AS9100 / ISO9001 certifications.\nWhat you bring to the table:\nMinimum five years of Planning / Scheduling experience in a Manufacturing environment and a High School Diploma.\nProficiency with ERP systems, especially Item Masters, Bills of Materials, Inventory Management, Manufacturing Orders, and Revision Control. Experience with Deltek Costpoint strongly preferred.\nWorking knowledge of MRP planning logic, including demand and supply signals, lead-time offsets, reschedule messages, and planning parameters.\nProactive approach to identifying and resolving scheduling challenges.\nStrong attention to detail, data accuracy, and record keeping.\nProficiency with Microsoft® Office products, especially Outlook and Excel.\nExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and in a team environment.\nExperience with Government contracts desired.\nWork Location & Schedule:\nThis is a full-time exempt, onsite position working Monday through Friday on a day-shift schedule. Consistent onsite presence is required to support business operations, cross-functional collaboration, and materials planning activities.\nSalary Range:\n$74,300.00-$99,100.000The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
