Mixed-Signal CMOS Design Engineer

Join a team developing advanced integrated circuits and readout integrated circuits that enable next-generation imaging sensor technologies. In this role, you will help bring complex mixed-signal semiconductor products from concept to production, working alongside multidisciplinary engineering teams to create innovative, high-performance solutions. If you are passionate about analog and mixed-signal design and enjoy solving challenging technical problems, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll do

  • Design and develop mixed-signal CMOS integrated circuits from concept through production release.
  • Create precision analog circuits including amplifiers, comparators, voltage references, clocking circuits, and phase-locked loops.
  • Design high-performance analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters.
  • Develop digital control logic and mixed-signal interfaces.
  • Perform schematic design, simulation, and verification using industry-standard electronic design automation tools.
  • Execute process, voltage, temperature, noise, reliability, and yield analyses.
  • Support physical implementation activities, including layout reviews and post-layout verification.
  • Participate in silicon bring-up, characterization, debugging, and root-cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with systems, FPGA, test, and product engineering teams.
  • Prepare technical documentation and contribute to design reviews.

What you need

  • Strong analog and mixed-signal integrated circuit design skills - required
  • Knowledge of CMOS device physics, noise analysis, feedback, and stability - required
  • Experience designing and verifying mixed-signal integrated circuits - required
  • Experience with Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics, or similar design tools - required
  • Understanding of silicon debug and laboratory characterization techniques - required
  • Experience with image sensor interfaces, readout electronics, or scientific instrumentation - preferred
  • Familiarity with Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL, or Verilog-AMS - preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or related discipline; Master's or Ph.D. is a plus - required/preferred

What we offer

  • Opportunity to work on cutting-edge imaging and semiconductor technologies.
  • Collaborative environment with highly skilled engineering professionals.
  • Exposure to the full product lifecycle from architecture through silicon validation and production.
  • Meaningful technical challenges with opportunities for innovation and professional growth.
