These markets include aerospace and defense, factory automation, air and water quality environmental monitoring, electronics design and development, oceanographic research, deepwater oil and gas exploration and production, medical imaging and pharmaceutical research.\nWe are looking for individuals who thrive on making an impact and want the excitement of being on a team that wins.\nJob Description\nJob Summary:\nThis position will test opto-mechanical systems in accordance to manufacturing documentation (assembly instructions, process documents, etc.) using a variety of hand tools, measuring devices and test equipment.\nPrimary Duties & Responsibilities:\nPerform precision alignment and testing of optical systems using interferometers, alignment telescopes, and optical inspection equipment.\nUtilize assembly and inspection tools to support testing activities.\nConduct environmental testing of opto-mechanical assemblies using thermal chambers and vibration test equipment.\nAccurately document test results, inspections, and work performed through required checklists and records.\nRead, interpret, and follow assembly drawings, blueprints, specifications, and process documentation to ensure accurate execution of test and assembly procedures.\nSupport routine laboratory upkeep, equipment maintenance, and general housekeeping activities.\nMaintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment by adhering to established procedures, policies, and regulations.\nEducation and Experience:\nHigh school diploma or GED with relevant technical or vocational training.\n3+ years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing or production environment.\nJob Qualifications:\nHigh attention to detail.\nQuality-focused mindset and strong work ethic.\nPrior experience in optical alignment, testing, and precision assembly.\nPrior experience using standard hand tools, including Allen wrenches, screwdrivers, and torque wrenches.\nBasic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.\nAble to read, write, and communicate effectively using the English language.\nAble to sit or stand up to 8 hours a day.\nAble to lift or carry up to 25 lbs., unassisted.\nAble to push or pull up to 50 lbs., unassisted.\nWhat We Offer:\nCompetitive Salary & Benefits Package\nHealth, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance from Day 1\nPaid Vacation, Sick Time, and Holidays\n401(k) with Company Match\nEmployee Stock Purchase Plan\nEducational Tuition Reimbursement\nFun Employee Events throughout the year\nApplicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce.\nSalary Range:\n$50,600.00-$67,500.000The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
