The Project Engineer is responsible for application review, technical design, generating the engineering drawing package, document control for the project engineering, ensuring that appropriate groups have input into the custom system design process, generating system test document, system integration with PLC and DAS, System test, and Client witnessed functional test. Assist in regulatory certification activities\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nDesign of CEMS or Process Systems according to customer contracts(s), specification, and with input from project team members.\nWork with project managers to ensure scope is defined and specification is met.\nGenerate a drawing package using Auto CAD.\nReview application data, Purchase Order, and Technical Specification for proper design and selection of equipment.\nSpecify materials and create a Bill of Materials to meet design.\nMaintain customer documentation and engineering design data.\nKnowing and executing procedures outlined in company Quality Management System.\nDesign of CEMS, including preparing needed documentation, manuals, drawings, work instructions, and preparing Bills of Materials (BOMS), creating spare parts lists, writong test documents, performing system test and factory acceptance test.\nMeet with manufacturing to review design and ensure proper build. \nGive guidance to manufacturing throughout build to ensure design is met.\nSchedule and conduct technical review meetings with all members of project team.\nTraining customers in the use of their specific CEMS equipment and maintenance.\nTroubleshoot and debug customer hardware and assist in the debuging of software (in house, in the field, or over the phone with customers and field service representatives)\nPublic speaking and client presentations, client interface via phone or on-site/in-house Visits.\nWrite Engineering Change Orders as needed.\nTravel to customer sites in an industrial environment. Up to 30% travel may be required.\nOther duties may be assigned.\nQualifications\nThe requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.\nEducation and/or Experience\nBachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in a related field and 2-5 years of directly related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nLanguage Skill\nAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.\nMathematical Skills\nAbility to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations. Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory and factor analysis.\nReasoning Ability\nAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.\nComputer Skills\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual should have a general knowledge of Microsoft Office and Auto CAD Software.\nOther Essential Duties\nFollows all import/export requirements, consulting with facility import/export personnel as required.\nOther Skills and Abilities\nFamiliarity of all applicable regulations EPA 40 CFR 60 and 75 as an example.\nKnowledge and application of applicable electrical codes.\nWorking knowledge of PC hardware configuration.\nWorking knowledge of Auto CAD.\nSalary Range:\n$72,800.00-$97,100.000The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
