The successful candidate will serve as the technical focal point for assigned programs while collaborating closely with Manufacturing Leadership, Engineering, Supply Chain, and customers to ensure successful program execution.\nThe role requires a strong engineering background combined with the ability to participate in customer interactions, evaluate contractual requirements, influence schedule decisions, support financial planning, and drive overall program performance.\nAbout Our Manufacturing Environment\nThe selected candidate will support programs executed within TBE's precision manufacturing operations, including:\nHigh-mix, low-to-medium rate production supporting defense and aerospace systems\nAdvanced CNC machining, fabrication, assembly, and integration operations\nComplex tooling and fixturing development\nWelding, precision assembly, inspection, and special process operations\nPrototype, low-rate initial production, and production ramp activities\n\nPrograms require coordination across:\nManufacturing\nSupply Chain\nQuality Assurance\nContracts\nCustomer Program Offices\nSuccess requires understanding both the technical and business aspects of manufacturing program execution.\nKey Responsibilities\nTechnical Leadership\nServe as the technical lead for assigned manufacturing and development programs.\nReview engineering drawings, specifications, and technical requirements to ensure manufacturability and execution readiness.\nEvaluate technical risks and develop mitigation plans.\nSupport production readiness reviews, and customer technical discussions.\nProgram Execution\nSupport execution of active projects through all phases of the program lifecycle.\nCoordinate engineering, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain activities to drive program execution.\nTrack milestones, deliverables, risks, and action items.\nSupport preparation of internal program reviews and executive briefings.\nCustomer & Contract Management\nParticipate in customer meetings, program reviews, and internal status updates.\nServe as a technical representative to customers on assigned projects.\nReview Statements of Work (SOW), specifications, contract requirements, and contract modifications.\nCoordinate customer action items and ensure timely closure.\nFinancial & Business Support\nSupport development of cost estimates, project budgets, and financial forecasts.\nMonitor program performance relative to plan.\nAssist with Progress-Based Payments (PBP), and financial reporting activities.\nEvaluate technical and schedule impacts associated with scope changes.\nSupport business case development for capital equipment, tooling, and manufacturing investments.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering discipline\n3+ years of experience in one or more of the following:Manufacturing Engineering\nProject Engineering\nManufacturing Program Support\nDefense/Aerospace Manufacturing\n\nStrong understanding of:Manufacturing processes and workflows\nEngineering drawings and specifications\nProduction planning and execution\n\nAbility to:\nOwn and manage broad project responsibilities.\n\nLead technical discussions with customers and internal stakeholders\nCommunicate effectively across engineering and business functions\nObtain and maintain a security clearance.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting Department of Defense (DoD) programs.\n Familiarity with:Contract structures and Statements of Work (SOW)\nCDRLs and program deliverables\nRisk management processes\nProduction ramp and manufacturing capacity expansion efforts\n\nWorking knowledge of:Program planning and scheduling\nCost estimating and financial tracking\n\nExperience working in and around a machine shop or manufacturing environment.\nGrowth Opportunity\nThis role is intentionally structured as a development path toward:\nProgram Manager\nThe successful candidate will gain exposure to technical leadership, customer management, contracts, schedule management, and program financials while supporting some of TBE's most critical defense manufacturing programs.\nTeledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
