These markets include aerospace and defense, factory automation, air and water quality environmental monitoring, electronics design and development, oceanographic research, deepwater oil and gas exploration and production, medical imaging and pharmaceutical research.\nWe are looking for individuals who thrive on making an impact and want the excitement of being on a team that wins.\nJob Description\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities : \nDetermine inspection sample sizes and verify incoming material by using appropriate methods (measuring dimensions, testing functionality, comparing to specifications etc.)\nDocuments inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarizing re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database and/or ERP system\nMaintain inspection measurement and test tools so that results are not compromised\nFollow defined standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations\nUse automated systems to perform complex inspection procedures\nPrepare and submit reports to the quality manager\nIssue non-conformance reports as needed and return to vendor when required\nProvide feedback to the production team on issues seen during incoming inspections\nDue to the type of work at the facility and certain access restrictions, successful applicants must be a \"US Person\" (US Citizens, US Nationals, lawful permanent residents, asylees or refugees)\nEducation and Experience:\nHigh School Degree or equivalent\nWorking knowledge of inspection techniques and inspection tools, gauges & equipment\nBasic understanding of manufacturing ERP systems\nJob Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nWork on multiple projects within the same day\nFollow directions, work independently and with minimal supervision\nWorks with a flexible schedule and demonstrates effective time management\nA keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach\nAble to interpret technical drawings and requirements\nKnowledge of quality systems and techniques including auditing, process control, and inspection methods\nWorking knowledge of MSOffice programs, i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nNone\nTraining Requirements:\nIFS Overview\nHazardous Communications\nQuality Systems\nPersonal Protective Equipment:\nThe use of Safety Glasses is required when working in production and lab areas in the facility.\nAdditional protection may be required while performing inspection near machines\nThe physical/mental demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
