These markets include aerospace and defense, factory automation, air and water quality environmental monitoring, electronics design and development, oceanographic research, deepwater oil and gas exploration and production, medical imaging and pharmaceutical research.\nWe are looking for individuals who thrive on making an impact and want the excitement of being on a team that wins.\nJob Description\nThe Quality Engineer is responsible for supporting, developing, and improving Teledyne DGO’s quality systems, processes, and controls to ensure products meet customer, regulatory, and industry standards. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams to drive root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities throughout the manufacturing lifecycle.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport and maintain the company’s quality management system (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001 and customer requirements.\nLead root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) activities for internal and external non-conformances.\nInterpret engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to ensure proper implementation in manufacturing.\nDevelop and improve inspection plans, control plans, and testing procedures.\nAnalyze data from inspection, testing, and production records to identify trends and recommend improvements.\nSupport supplier quality activities, including reviewing incoming materials and resolving supplier-related non-conformances.\nParticipate in internal and external audits, preparing documentation and supporting audit findings.\nCollaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Purchasing to address quality issues and drive process improvements.\nAssist in developing training materials and educating employees on quality standards and best practices.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.\n3+ years of quality engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.\nKnowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001 and AS9100 (preferred).\nExperience with root cause analysis tools such as 5 Why, Fishbone, Fault Tree, or similar methods.\nProficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.\nStrong analytical skills and experience using statistical tools or software.\nAbility to lead teams and collaborate across departments to resolve quality issues.\nExcellent communication and documentation skills.\nWork Environment\nWork is performed in both office and manufacturing environments, requiring interaction with production teams, inspection areas, and testing labs.
