This role performs inspections, testing, calibration, data collection, and analysis while partnering with engineers and production teams to identify quality issues, implement corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform quality control inspections and testing of incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods.\n\nSupport quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with established procedures, specifications, and standards.\n\nAssist engineers with equipment setup, calibration, validation, and qualification activities.\n\nCollect, analyze, and document quality data using specialized software and quality management systems.\n\nInvestigate non-conforming products and support root cause analysis and corrective action activities.\n\nPerform rework verification and ensure corrective actions are effectively implemented.\n\nAssist in the development, improvement, and maintenance of quality procedures, work instructions, and inspection methods.\n\nGenerate reports, maintain quality records, and support audit activities.\n\nParticipate in product and process validation activities, engineering trials, and experiments.\n\nCollaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.\n\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.\n\nEnsure compliance with company quality standards, regulatory requirements, and safety procedures.\n\nQualifications\nDiploma or Technical Certificate in Quality, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.\n\n2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing, quality, or engineering support environment.\n\nKnowledge of quality systems, inspection methods, metrology, and calibration practices.\n\nExperience using quality analysis tools and data collection software.\n\nAbility to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and test procedures.\n\nUnderstanding of root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies.\n\nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\n\nProficiency with Microsoft Office and quality management systems.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in a regulated manufacturing environment (ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485, or similar).\n\nStatistical process control (SPC) and data analysis experience.\n\nInternal auditor training or quality certification (CQIA, CQT, etc.).\n\nTeledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
