If you’re skilled in government contracting and thrive in a fast-paced environment, this role is for you.\nWhat you’ll do\nSupports quote and proposal activities.\n\nReviews RFP and RFQ documents and identify proposal parameters/requirements.\n\nLeads price negotiations for Teledyne, coordinates with the Program Managers and Product Line Managers\n\nAdvises management of contractual rights and obligations and means to mitigate contractual/program risks, compiles and analyzes data and maintains historical information.\n\nUtilizes Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for order booking, tracking, and reporting of data.\n\nFollows all import/export requirements, consulting with facility import/export personnel as required.\n\nAdminister Government prime and subcontract, domestic and foreign commercial contracts in accordance with FAR and Company policies and procedures.\n\nMaintain accurate contract and pricing files.\n\nReview, draft and negotiate terms and conditions, non-disclosure, proprietary information and LTAs.\n\nReview, analyze and prepare for approval/distributionof all contractual documents in accordance with contract compliance requirements; price, technical, schedules, risk and customer satisfaction.\n\nSupport internal, customer and US Government reporting and audits.\n\nMake decisions on administrative and operational matters as related to compliance with contracts, FAR and company policy.\n\nEffectively achieves objectives. Defines, interprets and flows down contractual requirements, translating into order releases.\n\nParticipate with Division Management, Program Management, Product Line Managers, and Marketing and Sales to establish business plans and objectives.\n\nRegular interaction with management, customers and Government agencies.\n\nInteraction routinely involves internal and customer negotiation of sensitive situations requiring persuasion and diplomacy.\n\nWhat you need\nBachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting or related field required; Master’s Degree (MBA) or Juris Doctor (JD) preferred.\n\nMust have at least a minimum of 6-8 years of Contracts experience.\n\nRequires experience with federal Government prime and subcontracts, and domestic and international commercial contracts.\n\nMust understand FAR, DFAR and other Government regulations.\n\nRequires an understanding of Government accounting concepts/principles and pricing regulations.\n\nCan distill contract risks into understandable written format for management review.\n\nMust possess knowledge of Government and commercial contracting process, demonstrated contract drafting skills and have experience in reviewing and understanding contracts and identifying the parties’ contractual obligations.\n\nMust possess the ability to negotiate complex agreements and communicate effectively with all parties, internally and externally.\n\nExperience with data entry into an ERP system, preferably MAPICS.\n\nMust possess experience in contracts appropriate for R&D and manufacturing.\n\nMust be a self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision, have innovative business skills, have excellent customer relations skills and be able to administer contracts work as well as be a contributor on multi-disciplined business teams.\n\nUS Citizenship with ability to attain/maintain government security clearance.\n\nNCMA Certification(s) a plus\n\nWhat we offer\nCompetitive pay and comprehensive health benefits\n\n401(k) with company match and retirement plans\n\nPaid time off and flexible work arrangements\n\nProfessional development and training opportunities\n\nEmployee wellness programs and assistance resources\n\nA collaborative environment working on mission-critical technology\n\nSalary Range:\n$96,600.00-$128,800.000The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate.
