Engineering teams around the globe use our systems to develop next-generation communication, consumer electronics and computer products.\nWe are looking for a talented Senior QA Engineer with solid Bluetooth knowledge to join us as part of our Frontline Test Services Team, providing world-class interoperability and consultancy to Teledyne LeCroy customers.\nThis position will support our customers in using the industry’s leading-edge technologies and tools. The successful candidate will have the passion and technical aptitude to become a subject matter expert in the field of connectivity technologies, be self-motivated and be able to perform under pressure and deadlines.\nAs a Senior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for working with customers to provide detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases to ensure that products are bug free and provide a great customer experience.\nIn this role, you will be able to grow with us as you work with multiple teams. Also, you will have the ability to take technical specifications and clearly translate them into test requirements. You will be a subject matter expert and will have the ability to continue to grow into new technologies across service offerings.\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nCoordinate with customers to create work item plans to ensure work, deliverables and delivery dates are defined at start of each project\nContinually track projects, ensuring that progress is as expected and ensure that issues can be mitigated\nProvide verbal and written test reports to customers\nResponsible for peer review and quality control of all test documentation\nProvide Root Cause Analysis of defects substantiated with device logs and Over-the-air Capture Files\nIs self-motivated and able to thrive under production pressure and deadlines\nDemonstrate good interpersonal skills and can collaborate effectively with co-workers\nSelf-improvement training where required\nKeep track of updates to technical specifications and report to customers if necessary\nDevelop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts to improve test efficiency and coverage\nMentor QA Team in technical matters\nEDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE\n5+ years of working within a test or QA environment\n2+ years of software experience preferably in Python\nBSc/BEng in Engineering or relevant field, or equivalent experience\nKnowledge of Bluetooth protocols and how those protocols are implemented\nExperience with Python programming\nExcellent organizational skills\nAbility to perform well under pressure, to set and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision\nExcellent problem solving and analytical skills\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nPreferred\nExperience in interoperability testing\nExperience with Bluetooth technologies and specifications\nExperience using protocol analyzers and wireless sniffers\nExperience with mobile consumer devices and/or automotive infotainment systems\nMust be able to travel\nTeledyne and all of our employees are committed to conducting business with the highest ethical standards.
