Teledyne Microwave Solutions has over 50 years of experience delivering sophisticated microwave/RF components and integrated assemblies for aerospace, defense, and communications. If you’re an experienced RF engineer ready to drive innovation and mentor teams, this role is for you.\nWhat you’ll do\nDesign and develop complex SSPAs and multi-function modules for defense and space applications\nLead RF architecture design using chain analysis and frequency planning tools (VSS)\nDesign RF components using ADS, MWO, HFSS, Sonnet, Spice, or Cadence\nEvaluate and select devices such as LNAs, PAs, filters, mixers, and synthesizers\nPerform trade studies for noise figure, power compression, spurious, and bandwidth\nOversee hardware layout, prototype construction, and performance testing\nPrepare test methods, analyze results, and verify compliance with specifications\nLead design reviews (PDR, CDR, PRR) and present to management and customers\nProvide guidance on technology trends and SWaP improvements\nWhat you need\nExtensive experience with RF, microwave, and millimeter-wave devices and systems (required)\nProficiency with RF design tools such as ADS, MWO, HFSS, Sonnet, or Cadence (required)\nStrong lab skills and ability to tune and align circuitry (required)\nBSEE required; MSEE preferred (required)\n15+ years of experience in RF/Microwave design (required)\nFamiliarity with space-qualified products (advantage)\nMust be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance (required)\nWhat we offer\nCompetitive pay and comprehensive health benefits\n401(k) with company match and retirement plans\nPaid time off and flexible work arrangements\nProfessional development and training opportunities\nEmployee wellness programs and assistance resources\nA collaborative environment working on mission-critical technology\nWhat happens next\nApply online through Teledyne’s careers page.
