The role will develop and execute supply chain strategies that support business objectives relating to cost, quality, delivery, inventory, and customer satisfaction while ensuring supply continuity and operational excellence.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupply Chain Strategy\nDevelop and implement supply chain strategies aligned to business objectives.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives across procurement, planning, inventory, stores, and logistics functions.\nSupport business growth through scalable supply chain processes and systems.\nIdentify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure supply continuity.\nProduction Planning & Scheduling\nEnsure effective demand and supply planning processes are in place.\nLead the development of production plans aligned to customer demand and available capacity.\nMonitor schedule adherence and resolve material constraints affecting production.\nCollaborate with Operations to achieve build plan attainment and delivery commitments.\nProcurement & Supplier Management\nManage supplier performance against quality, delivery, cost, and service metrics.\nLead supplier reviews and improvement plans.\nNegotiate supply agreements and commercial terms where appropriate.\nDrive supplier development and strategic sourcing initiatives.\nEnsure robust supplier risk assessment and contingency planning.\nInventory Management\nEstablish inventory policies and controls to optimise stock levels.\nBalance inventory investment against customer service requirements.\nMonitor excess, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory.\nImplement actions to improve inventory accuracy and stock turnover.\nOversee cycle count and inventory audit processes.\nLogistics & Stores Management\nEnsure efficient inbound and outbound logistics activities.\nManage stores operations to maintain inventory accuracy and material availability.\nOptimise transportation and freight costs while maintaining delivery performance.\nEnsure compliance with regulatory and customer requirements.\nS&OP / Demand Planning\nLead the monthly Demand and Supply Review process.\nFacilitate cross-functional planning activities involving Sales, Operations, Finance, and Engineering.\nDevelop demand forecasting methodologies and monitor forecast accuracy.\nProvide visibility of capacity, supply constraints, and mitigation plans.\nTeam Leadership\nLead, coach, and develop supply chain personnel.\nEstablish clear objectives, KPIs, and development plans.\nPromote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.\nManage resource planning, succession planning, and training requirements.\nPerformance Management\nDevelop and maintain supply chain dashboards and KPI reporting.\nAnalyse performance trends and implement corrective actions.\nPresent supply chain performance updates to senior management.\nDrive initiatives that improve OTIF performance, reduce costs, and enhance operational efficiency.\nCompliance & Governance\nEnsure compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and regulatory obligations.\nSupport internal and external audits.\nMaintain robust processes for procurement, planning, inventory control, and supplier management.\nDrive process standardisation and best practices.\nKnowledge and Experience\nEssential\nProven experience within Supply Chain Management in a manufacturing environment.\nStrong knowledge of procurement, planning, inventory management, warehousing, and logistics.\nExperience managing supplier relationships and performance.\nProficiency with ERP/MRP systems (SAP preferred).\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExperience leading and developing teams.\nDesirable\nElectronics, aerospace, defence, or engineering manufacturing experience.\nKnowledge of S&OP/SIOP processes.\nProfessional supply chain qualification (CIPS, APICS, CPIM, CSCP or equivalent).\nLean Manufacturing and Continuous
