Position Summary
Principal Responsibilities
- Manage performance of the team to ensure that employees achieve their full potential
- Develop and engage the team to ensure the employees are fully energised and focussed to achieve their own and company goals.
- Manage month and end year financial process,
- Responsible for the monthly and weekly management report and co-ordinate with respective PIC
- Responsible for the management and coordination of budgeting and inventory system.
- Preparing AOP, forecast and monthly soft closed.
- Responsible for monthly reports and performance analysis i.e. plant variance analysis (purchase price variance, usage variance, operating cost variance, etc)
- Accumulate and apply overhead costs as required by generally accepted accounting principles
- Involve in the interim & year-end physical stock together with analysis & reconciliations of variances.
- Liaise with external auditor during interim and year-end audit.
- Perform any other relevant and related responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time as required by superior.
Education / Experience Requirements
- Professional qualification from ACCA, CIMA, MICPA or Degree in Accounting.
- Member of Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
- Minimum 7 to 8 years of relevant working experience.
- Experience in accounting analysis and inventory management is an added advantage
Specialized Skills / Other Requirements
- Able to provide meaningful analysed data to the Management.
- Knowledge of Financial and Manufacturing Modules in any reputable ERP System is preferred.
- Must be able to communicate fluently (written and verbal) in English and Malay Language.
- Able to lead the Finance team in consolidating data and reviewing annual budgeting process with other section/department heads, take charge of stock take activities and provide prompt financial information to the management.
- Meticulous with strong analytical skill, initiative and hard working. Willing to work longer hours during month-end and year-end closing.
- Strong PC skills particularly in Microsoft Excel and Words.
