The candidate will be responsible for managing financial reporting, accounting operations, treasury, statutory compliance, taxation, and internal controls while supporting business growth and operational excellence.\nThe ideal candidate must possess strong leadership capabilities, solid technical accounting knowledge, and proven experience in a managerial role within a fast-paced manufacturing or multinational environment.\nPrincipal Responsibilities\nLead and manage the overall finance and accounting functions including:\n- General Ledger (GL)\n- Accounts Payable (AP)\n- Intercompany Transactions (ICO)\n- Balance Sheet (BS) reconciliation and governance\n- GRIR (Goods Receipt Invoice Receipt) monitoring and resolution\n- AUC (Asset Under Construction) management\n- CAPEX accounting and control\nEnsure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial closing.\nPrepare and review financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.\nLead statutory audit processes and coordinate with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities.\nManage company taxation matters including corporate tax, deferred tax, SST/GST/VAT compliance, and tax planning.\nOversee treasury functions including cash flow management, banking facilities, forex exposure, and working capital management.\nStrengthen internal controls, financial governance, and compliance frameworks.\nSupport budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives and process standardization within the finance organization.\nPartner with cross-functional stakeholders to support strategic business decisions.\nLead, coach, and develop finance team members to achieve departmental objectives.\nEducation / Experience Requirements\nBachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification.\nProfessional certification such as Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA), CPA, ICAEW, or equivalent is preferred.\nMinimum 8-10 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial position.\nExperience in manufacturing and multinational company (MNC) environment will be an added advantage.\nStrong knowledge of accounting standards, financial reporting requirements, and taxation regulations.\nFamiliarity with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.\nSpecialized Skills / Other Requirements\nNote: As with all positions, due to the dynamic nature of Teleflex Medical business, key responsibilities may evolve and change over time.\nTeleflex is an equal opportunities employer.\nAt Teleflex, we follow a comprehensive hiring process.
