This position is part of the Sales Operations team and has responsibility with all aspects related to customer and vendor contracts. This position requires a solid leader to manage the entire contract negotiation process, which includes strong capabilities to interpret legal language, strong leadership skills to manage customers (internal and external) through the process and exceptional communication skills. This position will also support Salesforce.com initiatives and ad hoc sales analysis.\nPrincipal Responsibilities\nContract Management: \nReview contracts from beginning discussions through to expiration monitoring.\nDraft, negotiate, and finalize contracts which include: supply agreements, quality agreements, vendor agreements, development or service agreements, and confidentiality agreements.\nWork directly with internal stakeholders to provide guidance and recommendation on contractual terms and provisions.\nAct as the communication liaison between internal departments, external customers (as required) and the legal department to balance input on terms and contractual provisions.\nPrepare language according to the terms/contractual provisions and administer contract proposals. Balance with corporate guidelines and legal counsel input.\nCommunicate with internal stakeholders the final contract structure for implementation and execution.\nManage executed contracts via proper storage/retention of executed contracts/amendments, real time updates to the contract database repository and monitoring of expirations for internal review.\nAssist in the development and maintenance of standard contract language.\nManage the customer change notification process which includes availability of contract parameters, timely review of required information with internal stakeholders, tracking of the communication process and proper record retention of the communications.\nReview purchase orders for clarity/concerns on contractual content primarily for China purchase orders.\nMaintain and lead the process to respond to customer’s supplier pre-qualifications queries and evaluations.\nMaintain the process to respond to online bids.\nCollect and analyze ad hoc sales data as needed by the business. Ad hoc requests to incorporate revenue stream, GP analysis, in depth customer review and additional requests as needed.\nSFDC, Tradeshow Management & Ad Hoc Requests:\nManage Salesforce.com initiatives, including standard reporting, Lightning integration and Wave Analytics.\nLead quote reporting activities and analytics.\nManage tradeshow and web leads, reporting and analytics.\nAd hoc reporting and analytics upon request.\nEducation / Experience Requirements\nMinimum of a Bachelor’s degree required.\nMinimum five years' experience as a paralegal/legal assistant preferred.\nMinimum of five years’ experience managing Business-to-Business contract agreements is preferred.\nMinimum of two years of experience in manufacturing or the healthcare industry preferred. \nSpecialized Skills / Other Requirements\nExceptional communication skills: written, verbal and listening. Ability to effectively communicate to employees at all levels of the organization.\nAbility to quickly process and synthesize data and information (internal & external).\nStrong aptitude to understand and balance legal guidelines and language, customer requirements, and business needs.\nSelf-motivated with a high degree of initiative.\nAbility to multi-task and prioritize workload.\nDemonstrated ability to work effectively in cross functional teams.\nDemonstrated ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization.\nStrong negotiation skills.\nAbility to manage a conflict and gain consensus.\nMust be well organized with a strong attention to detail.\nExceptional problem solving skills.\nExcellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, including Word, Powerpoint and Excel and ERP system (SAP preferred).\nExperience with data analysis and reporting tools.\nTRAVEL REQUIRED: 15 %\nThe pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $79,400.00-$110,000.00 however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will also include benefits such as medical, prescription drug, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, participation in 401(k) savings plan, and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO, short- and long-term disability and parental leave, dependent on the position offered.
