Join a dynamic, growing team that offers healthcare providers an array of medical technology solutions that make a difference in patients’ lives.\nFor more information, please visit Ingenyx.com\nPosition Summary\nProvides direct supervision to production shift (Second Shift: 3pm-11pm) in implementing manufacturing schedules, staffing and training requirements, quality and cost controls, production standards, and safety programs to meet or exceed production quotas.\nPrincipal Responsibilities\nFocuses on supervision of production activities toward customer satisfaction and attainment of production quotas, lead and delivery times\nDirects and coordinates activities concerned with production\nAssists Department Supervisors & Production Manager in establishing production, quality and cost control standards, production, product and staffing scheduling\nPlans and directs production activities and established production priorities for products in keeping with effective operations and cost factors\nAssists Work Center Supervisors by providing data on production, quality control, maintenance, and operational issues\nSupports business improvement processes to achieve or exceed budgeted operation results\nConfers with employees to review production activity, operating, waste/scrap, and quality reports to determine course of action and changes in operations\nLeadership and development of direct reports\nAssists in implementing and coordinating organizational policies and goals\nEnsures compliance with all corporate, local, state, federal policies and regulations\nExcellent interpersonal communication, leadership, and customer service skills\nTransitions shifts and resolve production concerns\nGather the planned and actual numbers for production on a daily basis and report it on the daily report of operations (DRO).\nSupport plant initiatives such as safety, environmental, quality, 5S, and TPM.\nDirects all related personnel actions, including final selection, training, performance appraisal, discipline, and safety issues\nSupports company culture and mission\nDirects special projects and problem solving as required\nCoach and develop operations staff in safety, quality, production, problem-solving, and communication to ensure efficient, on-time, high-quality output.\nEnsure best practices are being followed for minimization of waste at machine centers\nTrack continuous improvement opportunities where performance issues are apparent and provide leadership/action plans for gap closure\nStrictly adhere to plant safety, housekeeping, 5S efforts and other improvement programs\nIdentify repairs needed at machine centers and create work requests for completion\nDirect and assign work for hourly production employees, provide feedback as needed; address performance complaints, hold employees accountable, communicate issues and results daily\nEducation / Experience Requirements\nHigh School Diploma or GED required\nAssociate’s degree or equivalent Work Experience \n3 years of progressive supervisory experience required\n5 years technical experience preferred\nSpecialized Skills / Other Requirements\nComputer literate - MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, required; Mini-tab preferred\nNegotiation and problem-solving skills\nGood oral and written communication skills required\nExperience in the area of manufacturing operations\nAbility to prioritize and work independently\nAble to work independently with limited supervision\nTime and Attendance knowledge preferred\nSAP experience preferred\nTRAVEL REQUIRED: 0 - 10%\nAt Ingenyx, we follow a comprehensive hiring process.
