The successful candidate will perform entry level QC laboratory tasks. Basic laboratory skills and GMP knowledge are necessary for this position.\nThis position is based at our Maple Grove, MN office.\nPrincipal Responsibilities\nPerform raw material inspection for Blood Products per established procedures for fresh frozen plasma, sterile water for injection, carbon dioxide, etc.\nPerform isoagglutination test for Type-A plasma titer screening per established procedure.\nClearly and accurately record results to data forms, document the use of test reagents, equipment use/maintenance records, and laboratory environmental conditions. Maintain good record-keeping practices as required by GMP.\nUnderstand inspection testing and results sufficiently to recognize problems or unusual results.\nKeep track of reagents and comsumibles for Blood Products QC laboratory to ensure supplies are readily available.\nAssist laboratory scientists to maitain laboratory equipment per established procedures.\nAdhere to and ensure compliance with the Teleflex Code of Ethics, all company policies, rules, and procedures.\nComplete other duties and tasks (as assigned).\nEducation / Experience Requirements\nAssociate degree or higher in a relevant field such as biochemistry or chemistry (high school diploma with extensive laboratory experience may be considered).\nOne year of related experience in a laboratory environment is preferred.\nSpecialized Skills / Other Requirements\nGMP QC laboratory experience for pharmaceutical, biotechnology or medical devices industry highly preferred.\nExperience with pipetting, dilution and reagent preparation.\nBasic knowledge of safety in chemical, biological or clinical laboratory settings.\nStrong attention to detail.\nExperience with Microsoft software - Excel, Word.\nINDIVIDUAL CONTRIBUTORS: Core competencies of all roles.\nCommitment to Goals -A strong commitment to achieving goals is essential for personal and team success. By consistently modeling these behaviors, individual contributors help strengthen the workplace culture and positively influence those around them.\nWorking Conditions / Physical Demands\nThe pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between ($46,700-$65,400) however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will also include benefits such as medical, prescription drug, dental and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, participation in 401(k) savings plan, and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO, short- and long-term disability and parental leave, dependent on the position offered.
