This individual will be responsible for completing inspections, utilizing inspection, and measuring equipment where necessary, and completing SAP transactions to ensure product is available. The individual should have organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and ensure timely completion.\nPrincipal Responsibilities\nPerform visual, functional, and dimensional inspections\nUse various pieces of measurement equipment (Caliper, Micrometer, Scale, Comparator)\nAbility to read and interpret product characteristics and inspection plans\nPerform other related duties as assigned\nEducation / Experience Requirements\nHigh School education or GED equivalency\nOne-year experience in a position involving inspecting parts to blueprints using measuring instruments (comparator, micrometer and calipers) preferred\nAbility to read blue prints\nAbility to read measuring instruments\nUnderstanding of basic math, including decimals\nBasic knowledge of GD&T is a plus.\nForklift certification required. Forklift certified on all equipment preferred\nSpecialized Skills / Other Requirements\nEffective communication skills, both oral and written with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.\nExperience with SAP applications\nAbility to work well in a fast-paced environment under pressure and maintain positive, enthusiastic attitude\nEagerness to learn and expand responsibilities\nAbility to work effectively in a team environment and build strong working relationships.\nRelevant Experience working within Medical Device, or other FDA-regulated Industry is an advantage\nAt Teleflex, we follow a comprehensive hiring process.
