For more information, please visit teleflex.com.\nPosition Summary\nThis Senior Financial Analyst role is an exciting permanent opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified finance professional to support financial planning, analysis and business partnering across the Global Functions portfolio. Reporting to the Finance Manager - Global Functions, the role partners with function leaders and budget holders and works closely with Corporate Finance to deliver accurate forecasting, insightful analysis and high-quality management reporting.\nThis is a role for a hands-on problem solver who takes ownership of issues, enjoys turning data into insight, and has the confidence to build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business. The role is based in Athlone on a hybrid basis.\nPrincipal Responsibilities\nPrepare monthly financial results for assigned Global Functions cost centres, delivering clear, insightful commentary on variances versus forecast, budget and prior year\nManage the monthly/quarterly close for assigned cost centres, preparing accurate and timely journal entries, accruals and reconciliations\nPartner with function leaders and budget holders, providing financial analysis and insight to support decisions on investment, headcount and cost\nPrepare the annual operating plan, forecasts and strategic plan inputs for assigned functions, working with budget holders to develop and challenge assumptions\nProactively identify and resolve business and financial issues, supporting cost reduction, efficiency and cross-functional initiatives with robust analysis\nPrepare management presentations and ad hoc analysis in partnership with the Finance Manager\nContribute to the standardisation, automation and continuous improvement of reporting, processes and systems\nMaintain robust internal controls and support audit requirements, ensuring accounting treatment complies with corporate accounting policies and US GAAP\nOther responsibilities and projects as assigned by the Finance Manager and finance leadership\nEducation / Experience Requirements\nBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Economics, or equivalent experience\nFinance experience, including FP&A and business partnering experience, ideally in a multinational environment\nQualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA/ACA)\nExperience preparing budgets, forecasts and month-end reporting, with a strong understanding of variance analysis\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, working independently and as part of a team\nWorking knowledge of US GAAP\nStrong analytical and financial modelling skills, with the ability to structure and solve problems\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups and financial modelling) and proficiency in PowerPoint and Word; experience with SAP, Hyperion/PBCS and/or other EPM tools; Power BI an advantage\nStrong communication skills, with the ability to translate financial data into clear insights for non-finance stakeholders\nBehaviours/Values\nCollaborative team player who builds strong working relationships across the business\nHands-on problem solver who takes ownership and sees issues through to resolution\nCredible business partner with the confidence to ask questions and challenge assumptions\nProactive, adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-moving corporate environment\nAnalytical thinker with a continuous-improvement mindset and a strong focus on accuracy and control\nAmbitious and self-motivated, with the drive to grow and develop a career in finance #LI-hybrid #LI-UH1\nTeleflex is an equal opportunity employer.
