Strategic procurement methodology, SRM, category management, and contract management implementation where applicable.\nPrincipal Responsibilities\nIdeation, development, implementation and coordination of Cost imprement iniatives within Teleflex (CIP)\nConsolidates information with other Sourcing specialists to define the regional and global strategy.\nAssists, creates, and reviews bids and performs supplier selection.\nImplements strategic sourcing processes, where applicable.\nCoordinates cross-functional teams to develop, implement and coordinate Savings/category strategy.\nControls expenses and support the culture of long-term savings in purchasing costs.\nPerforms risk management for supply agreements and contracts.\nEnsures compliance with purchasing policies.\nComplies with safety and corporate regulations on business ethics.\nEducation / Experience Requirements\nBachelor's Degree in a related engineering, administration or other relevant field.\nA minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Purchasing working in Sourcing strategies or category management.\nSpecialized Skills / Other Requirements\nFluent in English (both written and spoken).\nProficiency in SAP, Agile and APICS systems (preferred).\nHigh attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills.\nBasic knowledge of ISO 13485.\nAt Teleflex, we follow a comprehensive hiring process.
