For more information, please visit teleflex.com.\nPosition Summary\nThe Supplier Quality Engineer III (SQE III) leads supplier quality activities to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality materials, components, and services. This role is responsible for driving supplier performance through qualification, risk management, audits, and continuous improvement.\nThe SQE III partners with cross-functional teams to assess supplier risks, resolve complex quality issues, and support new product introductions, design transfers, and supplier changes. Acting as a subject matter expert, the role drives compliance, mentors junior team members as needed, and uses data-driven insights to proactively manage supplier performance and risk.\nPrincipal Responsibilities\nDrive supplier quality performance across commodities, PFGs, and critical services, ensuring alignment with business and quality objectives\nLead supplier qualification and approval activities for new and existing suppliers, including risk assessment and compliance evaluation\nAdvance supplier capability through targeted development initiatives focused on quality, performance, and risk reduction\nLead resolution of supplier quality issues, including oversight of SCARs, root cause effectiveness, and escalation as needed\nSupport new product introductions, design transfers, and supplier changes to ensure robust supplier quality and process readiness\nDrive continuous improvement by analyzing supplier performance data, identifying trends, and implementing proactive actions\nOversee supplier-related quality activities including audits, quality planning, and performance reviews\nLead cross-functional supplier quality initiatives and represent Supplier Quality in business and project teams\nSupport integration of acquired suppliers into the Teleflex quality system and standards\nEnsure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, quality standards, and company policies\nEducation / Experience Requirements\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or related technical discipline preferred\n5-10 years of experience in a regulated industry, preferably medical devices\nStrong knowledge of applicable regulations and standards (e.g., 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, ISO 9001), with emphasis on supplier controls\nDemonstrated expertise in problem-solving and root cause analysis methodologies\nExperience applying statistical techniques to support quality and process improvement\nProven experience in supplier or quality auditing (third-party certification preferred)\nProfessional certification (e.g., ASQ CQE) or equivalent technical qualification preferred\nSpecialized Skills / Other Requirements\nExperience supporting manufacturing environments and supplier quality activities\nStrong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills\nEffective communication and technical writing skills\nAbility to present information clearly and influence cross-functional teams\nExperience facilitating problem-solving and improvement initiatives\nProficiency in standard business and quality tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, statistical software such as Minitab)\nTRAVEL REQUIRED: 30 %\nWORKING ENVIRONMENT:\nOffice/Professional\nTeleflex is an equal opportunity employer.
