For more information, please visit teleflex.com.\nPosition Summary\nThe position is responsible for general ledger-related reporting duties for US entities.\n#LI=hybrid\nPrincipal Responsibilities\nAssist in preparation of US GAAP accounts and month end close\nCompletion and review of Balance sheet reconciliations\nEnsure the presentation to corporate of financial data on a timely and accurate basis.\nSupporting the preparation of forecasts and annual plans.\nPreparation of detailed Cost Centre analysis\nCollaboration with the Transaction Processing group in Athlone\nEnsure the integrity and SOX compliance of financial, administrative and legal controls in accordance with corporate policy and procedures.\nEnsure compliance with VAT, tax and fiscal requirements\nPrepare the information requested by internal and external auditors\nEnsuring the integrity of internal financial controls\nAd hoc tasks as required to support Finance Function\nBack up for other colleagues where necessary\nParticipate in mentoring programme within team\nEducation / Experience Requirements\nQualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)\nPrevious Experience in a Shared Service Centre\nSAP user level experience\nStrong sense of discretion and confidentiality.\nExcellent IT skills with a working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint.\nStrong attention to detail with good time management skills\nThe ability to work effectively under pressure and to strict deadlines.\nSpecialized Skills / Other Requirements\nA friendly enthusiastic, professional and welcoming manner.\nExcellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with employees of all levels.\nFlexible and adaptable work ethic.\nAble to work on own initiative and as a team player.\nGood organisational skills with cultural awareness and sensitivity.\nGood analytical and problem-solving ability\nAbility to manage multiple programs and projects effectively and efficiently\nBoth builder or designer experiences advantageous\nTeleflex is an equal opportunity employer.
