You'll shape secure, scalable and commercially viable Azure and AWS solutions, taking them from early-stage architecture through to delivery assurance.\nThis is a highly customer-facing role where you'll influence technical direction, solve complex architecture challenges and help turn ambitious cloud transformation requirements into solutions that engineering teams can successfully deliver.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nLead solution architecture across complex cloud migration, modernisation, landing zone, platform, security and cloud-native engagements.\nShape technical solutions for customer opportunities, bids and RFPs, balancing technical quality, commercial viability and delivery practicality.\nDesign secure, scalable and resilient solutions across Azure and/or AWS, spanning infrastructure, networking, identity, governance and operations.\nProduce and assure architecture artefacts including HLDs, LLDs, reference architectures, design documentation and architectural decisions.\nLead customer discovery sessions, technical workshops, design reviews and solution playback sessions.\nWork closely with Cloud Engineering and Delivery teams to ensure architecture is practical, implementable and operationally sound.\nProvide architecture governance and design assurance, identifying risks, dependencies, constraints and exceptions before they impact delivery.\nMaintain alignment between the solution developed during presales and what is ultimately delivered.\nContribute to cloud architecture standards, reusable patterns, blueprints and reference designs.\nMentor Cloud Solutions Architects and help strengthen architecture capability and best practice across the wider team.\nWhat We're Looking For\nEssential\nDeep expertise in Microsoft Azure and/or AWS within complex enterprise cloud environments.\nStrong cloud architecture knowledge across IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, networking, identity, security, governance and operations.\nExperience designing cloud migration, modernisation, landing zone, platform or cloud-native solutions.\nProven experience leading complex solution architecture and producing implementation-ready architecture documentation.\nGood understanding of DevOps, Infrastructure as Code, automation and platform engineering principles.\nExperience contributing to or leading bids, RFPs, proposals and customer solution development.\nStrong understanding of architecture governance, technical assurance and design decision-making.\nAbility to confidently lead technical discussions with both technical and non-technical customer stakeholders.\nAbility to balance customer requirements, technical quality, delivery risk and commercial considerations.\nDesirable\nExperience across both Azure and AWS.\n Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305) or equivalent practical experience.\nAWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or equivalent practical experience.\nTOGAF or another recognised architecture framework/certification.\nExperience with FinOps, cloud governance, cloud security and operational readiness.\nExperience mentoring architects or other technical professionals.\nPublic speaking, technical thought leadership or knowledge-sharing experience.\nThe corresponding role documentation likewise treats Azure/AWS, enterprise-scale cloud delivery and architecture experience as central, with TOGAF, security, FinOps and cloud-governance credentials adding value.\nWhy This Opportunity Stands Out\nYou'll work across the full architecture lifecycle rather than being limited to either presales or delivery.
