\nCarry and maintain installation tools and Installation Required Materials (IRM).\nConduct site surveys as per defined formats and submit reports to the project manager.\nMaintain standard commissioning and cleaning kits.\nPerform material verification at the site against the Bill of Quantity (BOQ).\nAct as an on-site mentor for installation teams to ensure quality and workmanship standards.\nValidate Installation Design Plans (IDP) before equipment installation and ensure adherence.\nPerform pre-checks before powering devices and commission nodes as per commissioning plans.\nConduct video fibre scoping for equipment hardware and patch cords.\nExecute nodal acceptance testing as per standard documents along with customers.\nPerform patch cord routing, scoping, and insertion loss testing while maintaining records.\nLead activities for LSPM, integration, and closure of observations.\nConduct Link Acceptance Tests (LAT) with customers and document results.\nCoordinate with technical and QA teams to resolve technical and quality issues.\nEnsure proper labelling of patch cords, power, grounding, and LAN cables.\nCoordinate with customers for site acceptance and punch point clearance.\n\nRequirements: \nBasic understanding of fibre optic communication systems.\nExperience in transmission technologies such as SDH, OTN, and DWDM.\nStrong skills in transmission equipment configuration and troubleshooting.\nHands-on experience with network analysis instruments such as OSA, OTDR, and Ethernet/SDH/OTN testers.\nFamiliarity with tools such as VOA, laser source, power meter, video fibrescope, and VFL.\nKnowledge of installation standards, tools, and best practices.\nUnderstanding of fibre optic patch cords, connectors, and couplers.\nAbility to support installation and commissioning of network elements.\nKnowledge of Ciena products such as 6500 6500 RLS, Waveserver Ai, Waveserver 5 6500 T-12 & T-24\nAbility to read and interpret network design documents.\nMulti-OEM product knowledge is an added advantage.\nSkills\nDWDM, OSA, OTDR, OTN, SDH, fiber,
