The Quality Assurance Engineer's primary responsibility is to ensure the quality of Teleios software being delivered to customers meets or exceeds expectations.\nKey Responsibilities\nUnderstand the requirements and how they relate to the software being developed.\nWrite code for software solutions using standard OOP \nUnderstand SOLID principles \nAbility to understand source code composed by Teleios \nDesign and execute test strategies and test cases based on project requirements \nParticipate in code maintenance activities on existing projects. \nUse standard mechanisms for source control configuration and management. \nExplore and understand the software products at Teleios \nDevelop an increasing understanding of the architectural and design principles of good software \nBuild software solutions using REST, SOA and other architectural styles \nUnderstand Agile software development methodology \nUnderstand Scrum \nMonitor the value added to projects by reasonable standards \nCollaborate on the development of deployment activities for software projects \nPerform research and learn new technologies as needed \nIdentify bugs and write clear bug reproduction steps and work efficiently in bug management.\nLearn and participate in DevOps practices \nQuality Assurance\nWork on Agile teams to understand how to test their solution’s details. \nDesign, develop, collaborate on and execute appropriate test strategies and test cases based on unique project requirements \nEnhance product testing by writing automation scripts and using automation tools \nApply various types of testing and test techniques based on knowledge of the system under test. \nProvide feedback to the Product and/or Project Teams and software developers of the state of the system under test in relation to failed/successful test cases and existing bugs\nCandidate Profile\nEducation and Experience\nA bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technologyor a similar degree.\n\nExperience working for a technical organization is highly desirable\nExperience working in a Software Quality Assurance/Testing role will be an asset\nMinimum 1-yearprogramming experience\nExperiencewith Microsoft Visual Studio will be an asset\nExperiencewith GIT will be an asset\nExperiencewith Microsoft Azure will be an asset\nFunctional Competencies\nC#, Java\nTypeScript, JavaScript\nHTML, CSS\nBehavioral Competencies\nBe an example in attitude, performance and problem-solving consistent with Teleiosvalues and principles\nSelf-motivated and able to work with autonomy -
