This role will support the growth of our Automotive business across North America, working closely with customers and internal teams to identify new opportunities, support business development initiatives, and help drive product strategy. The Technical Product Manager will serve as an important connection between customer needs, market opportunities, and our technical capabilities.\nKey Responsibilities\nDrive growth of power magnetics-including inductors, transformers, chokes, and filters-within the Automotive business.\nRespond promptly to customer and Sales needs, including product selection, technical questions, and application support.\nTranslate customer requirements, market trends, and competitive insights into actionable product opportunities.\nSupport new product design-in and validation for customer applications.\nManage new business opportunities through customer communications, onsite and virtual meetings, and the corporate Salesforce tool.\nCoordinate with factories, R&D, Sales, and Marketing on customer trends, product capabilities, positioning, and sales materials.\nRepresent YAGEO at trade shows and industry events.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering required.\nMinimum of 5 years of experience in product management and/or design engineering, preferably with a semiconductor company or with power supply design.\nExperience in product marketing, project management, and business development.\nBasic knowledge of magnetic theory and inductors, transformers, and filters.\nPower electronics background and familiarity with engineering or simulation tools preferred.\nAbility to address customer technical questions with clear product, competitor, and pricing insights.\nStrong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.\nExcellent analytical and proactive problem-solving skills.\nCollaborative, customer-focused, and comfortable working across functions.\nLocation & Work Type\nDetroit, MI - United States \nFull Time\nRequires up to 25% travel\nThis job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee.
