As an Operations Engineer in our Telco Cloud team, you help keep that foundation stable, fast and secure. And you make it easier for other teams to build on it.\nYou will work in a close-knit squad that supports several tribes and teams, each with their own needs and timelines. Together you use automation, monitoring, capacity planning and performance engineering to prevent problems before customers notice them. You will have a senior buddy from day one, time to learn, and room to take on more ownership as your confidence grows.\nYour role as Telco Cloud Operations Engineer\nKeep our virtualization and Kubernetes platforms healthy by monitoring, automating and continuously improving them for reliability and scalability.\nHelp build our AIOps capabilities by using data from our NSO data lake and monitoring tools to detect anomalies, correlate alerts and anticipate capacity needs.\nSupport application teams in adopting telco cloud services and act as a trusted point of contact for technical guidance.\nBuild, maintain and optimize CI/CD pipelines while ensuring safe and efficient deployment of standard changes.\nUse AI tools in your daily work to develop scripts, automate tasks, create documentation and improve incident analysis.\nInvestigate and resolve L2/L3 incidents with your squad, identify root causes and help prevent recurring issues.\nContribute to platform designs, roadmaps and best practices while taking part in agile ceremonies and the shared on-call rotation.\nYour profile as Telco Cloud Operations Engineer\nYou have between 1 and 4 years of hands-on experience with Linux and virtualization, containers or Kubernetes through work, internships or personal projects.\nYou have experience with scripting or coding, preferably in Python.\nYou are comfortable working with YAML and Git.\nYou have a basic understanding of networking concepts such as routing, DNS and load balancing.\nYou communicate clearly and effectively in English.\nKnowledge of Dutch is a plus.\nYou are eager to learn new technologies and continuously expand your cloud, automation and platform engineering skills.\nYou are willing to be part of a shared on-call rotation.\nOur offer to you\nAt Telenet group, you get more than just an attractive gross salary.
