clean up schematics, BOMs, and documentation to a maintainable, professional standard\n\nDesign power stages, sensor interfaces, high-precision analog I/O, digital I/O, and galvanic isolation circuits\n\nEstablish and own validation and test practices: bench testing, ESD, load testing, resonance tuning, and whatever else the design demands\n\nManage DFM reviews and own the relationship with contract manufacturers and fab houses\n\nOwn compliance and EMC testing\n\nCollaborate with the embedded firmware team on board bring-up and hardware-software integration\n\nProvide high-level systems guidance on cable harnesses and electrical architecture to junior engineers\n\nRequired Qualifications\nB.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.\n\n5+ years of professional electrical engineering experience with a focus on PCB design through production\n\nStrong analog and digital circuit design fundamentals\n\nExperience designing low-voltage power circuits with high-current stages\n\nProficient in KiCad (schematic capture, layout, BOM management)\n\nHands-on validation and debugging: oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, load testing\n\nExperience managing contract manufacturers and fab houses through DFM and production\n\nDemonstrated ability to own board designs end to end with minimal oversight\n\nComfortable working on-site in Palo Alto, CA\n\nStrong Experience With\nMixed-signal design: high-precision analog, sensor interfaces, galvanic isolation\n\nDFM practices: panelization, tolerancing, component selection for manufacturability\n\nCompliance and EMC testing processes\n\nRapid iteration: comfortable spinning boards quickly without sacrificing quality\n\nMaintaining clean, well-documented schematics and BOMs across multiple active designs\n\nNice to Have\nExperience in automotive, heavy equipment, or ruggedized industrial environments\n\nFamiliarity with embedded firmware concepts -
