This gives you the freedom, power, and autonomy to build and innovate with confidence.\nRemote-first and globally distributed, we work with companies like Nasdaq, DoorDash, and Elastic to secure infrastructure for an AI world.\nHere is why we love this job ourselves, and hope you will enjoy it too:\nWe work on a wide range of IT projects including automation, security, networking, and building integrations.\n\nWe value modern IT tooling and novel approaches to traditional problems.\n\nWe prefer working autonomously and asynchronously, proactively identifying and addressing issues, and operating with a builder's mindset.\n\nWe practice thorough code reviews and have an open design process.\n\nOur products are loved by their users.\n\nHere are the projects you may be working on:\nAdministering our core IT stack (Okta, Jamf, Google Workspace, Chrome Enterprise).\n\nCreating new workflows and integrations both within our IT stack and with other systems and platforms across Teleport.\n\nHardening our macOS endpoints and securing our SaaS services.\n\nBuilding upon our IT workflow automation tooling written in Go and using Temporal running on Kubernetes.\n\nCollaborating with the engineering team on dogfooding Teleport, specifically Teleport Identity (identity governance), Teleport Policy (access policies), and Beams (runtime for agentic workflows).\n\nGoverning and securing corporate generative AI usage.\n\nProviding IT support to internal users as needed.\n\nRequirements:\nStrong knowledge of modern IT platforms such as Okta, Jamf, Google Workspace, Google Chrome Enterprise, Zoom, and Slack.\n\nHands-on experience administering and hardening macOS endpoints.\n\nDeep understanding of corporate IT identity, automation, and security concepts.\n\nExperience (and a preference for) building with IaC/Terraform and CI/CD with GitOps.\n\nScripting experience with shell and object-oriented programming experience.\nExperience with Go is a plus.\n\nExperience with Linux systems administration and engineering.\n\nWillingness and ability to roll up your sleeves and work on traditional IT tasks when needed, such as managing our internal facing helpdesk.\n\nWhat to expect once you apply:\nYou will join a 30-minute intro call where we will walk you through the compensation, interview process, and requirements.\n\nWe’ll invite you to a Slack channel and you’ll work on a coding challenge using Terraform and shell scripts (or Go) on GitHub.\n\nWhy Teleport\nYou're joining a company where the problem is real, the team is small, and your work shows up directly in the product.
