The team is focused on scalability, security, and analytics of Teleport on our Cloud platform. They build multi-cluster Kubernetes controllers, networking services, platform monitoring tools, and more.\nWe strongly encourage you to explore our GitHub Repo to get a taste of what we are building.\nWhat You'll do\nYou will work on problems ranging from networking and performance to security and integrations with external systems.\n\nDesign, develop, and ship outstanding, high-quality products. A sample of potential projects:\nBEAMS, Cloud Hypervisor-based, Kata container, agentic runtime platform\n\nMulti-cluster Kubernetes operators for managing Teleport at scale\n\nZero-downtime upgrades for services with long-lived tunnels\n\nWrite most of the code in Go.\n\nClosely collaborate with other teams at Teleport\n\nGrow your technical expertise.\n\nWhat We're Looking For\nWillingness to work collaboratively with Teleport's engineers on coding challenge in Go as part of the interview process.\n\nExtensive Go experience\n\nStrong expertise with Kubernetes, including experience writing controllers and extending Kubernetes via APIs.\n\nExtensive experience developing scalable, reliable, and performant systems.\n\nStrong software-related security experience and strong interest in security space.\n\nProficiency with AWS and other cloud services.\n\nLinux systems engineering experience.\n\nNetworking experience.\n\nIntellectual curiosity and a willingness to master new technologies.\n\nTransparency, honesty, and a no-ego mindset.\n\nNice to have\nSignificant contributions in Open Source is a big plus.\n\nKnowledge of Envoy and Cilium\n\nCryptography engineering experience\n\nHow We Hire\nOur process is designed to be straightforward and respectful of your time. You'll have support from the team throughout.\nZoom meeting with a Teleport recruiter. You’ll learn about the company, our products, compensation philosophy, interview process, and key requirements.\n\nZoom meeting with the Hiring Manager. The Hiring Manager will walk you through the coding challenge and answer your questions.\n\nCoding challenge collaboration. The day after your meeting with the Hiring Manager, you join a Slack channel and complete a coding challenge in Go using GitHub.
