You will get to collaborate with infrastructure engineering and security teams at the most sophisticated technology companies in the world. Most importantly, you will help these companies solve problems and get exposed to the latest ideas in technology.\nYou will partner with account executives, other solutions engineers, and other teams to understand customer challenges, design secure and scalable solutions, and guide prospects through technical evaluations and proof-of-value engagements.\nYou have experience working with AI technologies and infrastructure (LLMs, MCP, vector databases, AI tooling), and familiarity with traditional infrastructure networking and security (Linux/Unix, Windows, VPNs, bastion hosts, etc) and modern cloud-native technologies (cloud compute, containers, IaC, etc).\nWhat You'll Do\nPartner with Account Executives and Account Managers to expand technical discovery, and map Teleport’s capabilities to customer initiatives.\n\nArchitect and deliver compelling demos and proof-of-concepts that showcase Teleport’s differentiation with Zero Trust principles, handling of human and non-human identities, identity governance, and identity security.\n\nAct as the trusted advisor to engineering, platform engineering, DevSecOps, and security leaders.\n\nAdvise on protecting sensitive datasets and model endpoints with Teleport’s identity-based controls.\n\nPosition Teleport as a solution to eliminate API keys and static tokens in machine pipelines.\n\nSupport customers exploring AI/LLM use cases, including secure infrastructure for training and inference workloads.\n\nProvide structured feedback to Product and Engineering on feature gaps and market needs.\n\nCollaborate with Marketing on thought leadership around identity, human, non-human, and AI security.\n\nSupport channel and technology partners with technical enablement.\n\nHelp across various go-to-market activities, including marketing collateral, product positioning, customer interviews, sales cycle optimizations, traveling to conferences, brand evangelism, attending meetups, etc.\n\nListen deeply and perceive feedback as an opportunity to improve.\n\nDemonstrate a high level of empathy, resilience, and humility.\n\nWhat You'll Bring\n5+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering, solutions architecture, DevSecOps or a highly technical customer-facing role.\n\nExperience with using/configuring/debugging Linux machines and network issues.\n\nStrong understanding and experience with Kubernetes, including hands-on troubleshooting.\n\nStrong knowledge of at least one cloud computing platform\n\nStrong knowledge of DevSecOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, and securing infrastructure at scale (e.g., source control, code reviews, unit testing, agile principles).\n\nAdvanced understanding of identity security and modern Zero Trust security approaches.\n\nProven ability to develop scripts and automation using Linux shell, Go, and Infrastructure as Code tools\n\nStrong understanding of system architecture, provisioning, and administration\n\nFamiliarity with AI/LLM infrastructure (GPU clusters, data governance, inference workloads, ML pipelines) and associated security requirements.\n\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues\n\nAbility to engage both technical and executive stakeholders with credibility and clarity.\n\nStrong presentation, demo, and white-boarding skills.\n\nWhy Teleport\nYou're joining a company where the problem is real, the team is small, and your work shows up directly in the product.
