automation frameworks using Python and Pytest.\nDevelop automated tests for APIs, web applications, and distributed microservices using Pytest, Selenium, and custom helper libraries.\nValidate Kafka-based event-driven workflows, messaging, and data integrity.\nBuild reusable automation utilities using HTTPX, Trino, and other supporting technologies.\nIntegrate automated testing into GitLab CI/CD pipelines and quality gates.\nExecute and troubleshoot automation in containerized and Kubernetes environments.\nManage test execution, reporting, and defect tracking using Jira and Zephyr.\nCollaborate with developers and DevOps teams to diagnose and resolve complex system issues.\nMentor junior and intermediate test engineers through coaching, code reviews, and technical guidance.\nAssist with test planning, work assignment, prioritization, and delivery coordination across the test team.\nEducation and Experience required\n6-9 years of related experience in Test Automation \nStrong Python development and automation experience.\nAdvanced experience with Pytest and automated testing frameworks.\nHands-on experience with Selenium-based UI automation.\nExperience testing REST APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.\nExperience with Kafka or similar event-driven messaging platforms.\nExperience with GitLab, CI/CD pipelines, and source control best practices.\nExperience using Jira and Zephyr for test management and defect tracking.\nProven ability to mentor engineers and lead automation initiatives.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\nNice to have\nExperience with Trino, HTTPX, gRPC, or Kubernetes.\nExposure to Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or distributed tracing.\nExperience in telecommunications, SDN, cloud-native platforms, or large-scale distributed systems.\nExperience working in AI-assisted software development
