The role combines program administration with hands-on Jira work management, ensuring that technical work is clearly defined, actively tracked, and driven to completion across internal software development teams and external vendors.\nThe successful candidate will be comfortable working in a technical development environment and across a multifunctional organization that includes engineering, program management, product management, business development, sales, commercial teams, and external suppliers. Experience supporting Agile software development is strongly preferred.\nMain Responsibilities\nCreate well-structured Jira epics, stories, tasks, bugs, and technical-request tickets with clear problem statements, scope, acceptance criteria, dependencies, priorities, owners, and supporting technical context.\nAdminister and maintain Jira projects and boards, including Kanban boards, workflows, backlogs, filters, dashboards, and reporting views that provide clear visibility into work status, blockers, ownership, and due dates.\nDrive Jira work items through completion by coordinating follow-up with internal software developers, engineering teams, program stakeholders, and vendors; identify stalled work, facilitate resolution of blockers, and escalate issues when required.\nFacilitate work intake, backlog review, prioritization, and status-tracking activities in collaboration with technical leads and program managers, while ensuring tickets remain current, actionable, and aligned to program priorities.\nEstablish and maintain action-item registers and Kanban-style action boards; assign owners and target dates, monitor progress, follow up on overdue actions, and confirm closure with appropriate evidence.\nAttend program, vendor, and technical meetings; prepare agendas as needed; capture concise minutes, decisions, risks, dependencies, and action items; and distribute and maintain meeting records.\nCoordinate project activities across system engineering, user terminal engineering, software development, program management, product management, commercial teams, and external vendors to support compliant delivery on time and on budget.\nEnsure required program documentation, decisions, meeting records, and supporting artifacts are organized and archived in accordance with data-management standards.\nSupport the Program Manager in developing and maintaining project schedules, timelines, milestone plans, status reports, risks, and dependencies across multiple user terminal vendors, integrators, component developers, and internal teams.\nEducation and Experience Required\nBachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business management, or a relevant discipline; experience with communications systems, satellite terminals, or other complex technical products is preferred but not required.\nMinimum of 3 years of experience in project coordination, program support, software delivery coordination, or a related role within a STEM or technical development environment.\nDemonstrated proficiency with Atlassian Jira and Confluence, including creating and managing tickets, administering boards and backlogs, configuring or working within workflows, building filters and dashboards, and tracking work to completion.\nExperience supporting Agile software development practices such as Scrum, Kanban, backlog refinement, sprint or increment planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.\nAbility to understand technical discussions and translate them into clear, accurate, and actionable Jira tickets, meeting records, status updates, and follow-up actions.\nExperience coordinating work across internal technical teams and external technology vendors;
