This role will focus on requirements development and maintenance, Product Requirements Document support, architecture definition, requirements traceability, verification planning, and cross-functional coordination across engineering, supplier, and program teams.\nThe successful candidate will work independently with internal teams, suppliers, and program stakeholders to ensure requirements are complete, testable, traceable, and aligned with customer and product objectives.\nMain Responsibilities\nDevelop, review, clarify, and maintain User Terminal requirements, PRDs, interfaces, and supporting system documentation.\nPerform requirements updates, decomposition, allocation, traceability, and compliance analysis across terminal hardware, modems, software, and integrated solutions.\nDevelop requirements-to-test mappings, verification methods, compliance matrices, and objective-evidence links.\nWrite CONOPS and requirements for fixed, mobility, and maritime applications.\nParticipate in requirements reviews, design reviews, architecture discussions, workshops, and supplier meetings.\nCoordinate with RF, antenna, modem, waveform, FPGA, software, networking, integration, test, product, and program teams.\nSupport terminal vendors and partners through review of requirements, interfaces, designs, risks, and verification evidence.\nSupport contractual requirements reviews, bids, proposals, CDRLs, test reports, and customer deliverables.\nUpdate and maintain Capella operational and functional architecture models.\nEducation and Experience Required\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\n9 to 14 years of relevant engineering experience in systems engineering, satellite communications, telecommunications, aerospace, networking, or a related field.\nExperience supporting complex multidisciplinary product-development activities across requirements, design, integration, verification, and delivery.\nSpecialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities\nStrong knowledge of systems engineering, requirements allocation, traceability, verification, and compliance management.\nKnowledge of low earth orbit (LEO) satellite communications and User Terminal subsystems, including antennas, RF equipment, modems, waveform processing, networking, and software.\nAbility to convert customer, contractual, operational, and technical needs into clear, testable requirements.\nExperience with Jama, DOORS, Capella, Jira, Confluence, or equivalent tools.\nStrong analytical, technical writing, presentation, and meeting-facilitation skills.\nDecision Making & Supervision\nWorks independently on complex assignments with limited supervision.\nMakes technical recommendations related to requirements quality, traceability, verification, compliance, and issue resolution.\nEscalates decisions with significant architectural, contractual, cost, or schedule impacts.\nMay lead focused work packages or reviews and guide less experienced engineers;
