In this role, you will partner closely with internal data engineering and analytics teams, as well as cross-functional enterprise data engineering stakeholders, to design, build, and optimize high-impact dashboards and LookML models that power decision-making across the streaming organization.\nThis is a unique opportunity to blend technical expertise with user-experience design, transforming ideas from wireframes into polished, intuitive dashboards that support our fast-growing streaming business.\nABOUT YOU\n· Thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with shifting priorities\n· Able to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain accuracy and confidentiality\n· Strong collaborator with excellent relationship-building skills\n· Exceptional written and verbal communication\n· Full professional proficiency in English\nYOUR DAY-TO-DAY (RESPONSIBILITIES)\n· Design, build, and maintain reliable, insightful, and visually compelling Looker dashboards\n· Establish and enforce coding standards and style guidelines for LookML development\n· Enhance and optimize existing Looker reports and dashboards\n· Refine and restructure LookML projects to support evolving reporting needs\n· Use LookML parameters and UX best practices to improve the end-user experience\n· Ensure ongoing project health by monitoring performance, validating content, and performing audits and unit testing\n· Implement persistent derived tables, caching strategies, and refresh policies to ensure data accuracy and performance\n· Configure and manage data security, including access filters and field/row-level permissions\n· Partner with data engineers to define optimal data structures and solutions\n· Train, mentor, and support team members in Looker best practices and components\nYOU HAVE (REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE)\n· 8+ years of experience in data visualization development (5+ years in Looker)\n· Looker LookML Developer certification is a plus\n· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience)\n· Demonstrated expert-level proficiency in Looker and LookML\n· Strong SQL expertise and solid analytical skills\n· Proven ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and data solutions\n· Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and debugging skills\n· Familiarity with BigQuery\n· Experience with Git and CI/CD deployment workflows\nELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS\n· Employment/education will be verified\n· Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis\nOUR BENEFITS:\nTelevisaUnivision believes that a happy, well-balanced employee is what makes our culture thrive.
