In that case, being a leader in the Univision San Antonio News Production Operation team is your job.\nYOUR DAY-DAY:\nOperate a Sony switcher. \nOperate switcher and Direct promos and briefs. \nApply technical expertise to resolve technical issues that arise in the control room. \nCollaborate closely with producers and production staff in preparing rundowns and coordinating graphics. \nManage and lead the technical crew during shift. \nWork with Engineering to ensure that all equipment is operating properly. \nPerform other duties as assigned. \nYOU HAVE:\nAssociate degree in television production or equivalent work experience \nMinimum of 2 years of experience as Technical Director of live shows. \nMust have a working knowledge of control room workflows and an understanding of basic audio, GFX, and server playouts. \nKnowledge of Sony Switcher, Sony ELC automation and Ross Overdrive automation software is preferred. \nUnderstand proper video and audio levels. \nKnowledge of iNEWS, Mira, and Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel). \nMust have the leadership skills to manage and lead the technical crew during their shift. \nProficiency in video editing software, including Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro, with a strong understanding of editing systems and post-production workflows.\nMust communicate effectively with producers and production staff to prepare rundowns and coordinate graphics. \nMust have the ability to multi-task and prioritize. \nMust be able to perform well under pressure and live event situations. \nBi-lingual (English and Spanish) preferred. \nEmployees will be expected to commit to a specific schedule in the time indicated. \nAs this position supports a 24x7 operation, the candidate must, in addition to being able to work regular hours, have on-call availability and flexibility to workdays, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays as needed and without advance notice.
