Let's build what's next\nResponsibilities\nProvide support to multi-functional team of R&D, Program Management, Core Networking, RF Engineering, Transport and Technical/Training Support to fulfill multi-technology wireless network deployment across customer markets.\nUnderstand correlation between performance issues, performance metrics, RF parameters and layer 3 messaging.\nExperience/knowledge of peg count/formulas and CSL data.\nIdentify and resolve issues in network performance.\nDesign and implementation of eFEMTO, PICO hardware in support of Special Events or in-building coverage solutions.\nResponsible for link budgets analysis, system dimensioning for coverage and capacity including traffic analysis, frequency planning, interference analysis and optimization.\nComplete optimization techniques for optimal site/cluster performance (antenna selection, tilts, neighborlist, etc).\nProficient in neighbor list, parameters, tools and audit process.\nKnowledge of commands, run scripts, macros, RF tools, Mapinfo\nOptimize site/cluster performacne and resolve trouble tickets through reports, tools, scanner and drive test anlayisis.\nComplete propagation (Planet, Tornado, Wizard, Odyssey, dB Planner, etc.) for model calibration, drive test data post-processing, map generation, frequency planning and interference matrix analysis, site database maintenance, etc.\nWork with the Implementation and Operations Teams on the cell site’s antenna and RF equipment configuration and database parameters.\nManage personal workload, projects, and deliverables, to meet aggressive project timelines.\nTrain other engineers and team members.\nProvide direction and schedule activities to RF contractors and drive teams.\nProvide RF ATP, Cluster Acceptance forecast and revenue projections.\nPresent ideas, technical and non-technical, in a logical, compelling manner in a written format and verbally.\nDisplay a SME technical aptitude and provide presentations and communication to the customer.\nQualifications\n\n Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related discipline\n10-15+ years of progressive RF engineering experience in carrier or OEM environments\nExpert-level knowledge of LTE and 5G NR air interface principles\nProven leadership of large-scale optimization, launch, and modernization programs\nAdvanced experience with RF planning, optimization, and drive test tools\nStrong understanding of antenna theory, propagation models, interference management, and link budgets\nDemonstrated ability to lead without authority and influence senior stakeholders\nExceptional written and verbal communication skills\nPreferred / Nice-to-Have\n OEM experience with Samsung, Ericsson, Nokia, or Alcatel-Lucent\nAdvanced experience with C-band, mmWave, Massive MIMO, TDD, and CBRS\nKnowledge of O-RAN, vRAN, Cloud RAN, or centralized RAN architectures\nTier-1 carrier experience (Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Dish)\nAutomation and analytics experience (Python, MATLAB, Power BI, Tableau)\nCBRS CPI Certification\nTools & Technologies\n RF Planning: Atoll, Planet, Asset\nDrive Test / UE Tools: TEMS, Accuver XCAL/XCAP, Nemo\nAnalytics & OSS: Vendor EMS, OSS KPIs, Power BI, Tableau\nRAN Vendors: Samsung, Ericsson, Nokia, Alcatel-Lucent\nDocumentation: MS Excel (advanced), PowerPoint, Visio\nWork Environment & Travel\n Hybrid office/field environment\nTravel up to 25-40%, varying by project phase\nOn-call support during launches or critical performance events\nJoin Our Veteran-Friendly Team:\nAre you a veteran or a veteran spouse with expertise in telecommunications?
