We’re a supportive, forward-thinking team focused on building trusted data foundations that enable reporting, analytics, and better financial decision-making.\nWhat you’ll do:\nYou will design, develop, and maintain scalable data solutions that make data reliable, accessible, and ready for business use.\nDesign and build scalable data pipelines and data models for analytics, reporting, and data-driven products.\nEnsure data quality, reliability, security, testing, monitoring, and documentation throughout the data lifecycle.\nDevelop CI/CD practices that make data solutions robust and maintainable.\nIntegrate new data sources into the analytics environment.\nCollaborate with analytics colleagues, business stakeholders, and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.\nContribute to the continuous development of Telia Finance’s data architecture and engineering practices.\nWhat will help you thrive in this role:\nYou are a pragmatic and curious problem-solver who takes ownership, values collaboration, and creates structure in complex data environments.\nProven experience in data engineering or a similar role, with at least two years of hands-on experience.\nStrong knowledge of SQL and programming in Python or Scala.\nHands-on experience with data pipelines, data models, and ETL and ELT processes.\nExperience using data processing, transformation, orchestration, and quality tools such as Apache Spark, dbt, Airflow, or Great Expectations.\nSolid understanding of data quality, testing, monitoring, security, and data governance principles.\nAbility to communicate and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nFluency in English and Swedish.\nNice to have: experience with CI/CD, infrastructure as code, automated testing, agile or cross-functional teams, on-prem and cloud-based data solutions, or a regulated environment such as finance.\nJoin us to shape smarter living for people, businesses, and the planet\n\nAt Telia, we’re a team of nearly 15 000 colleagues across the Nordics and Baltics, passionate about technology and connectivity.
