Your mission Lead, mentor, and develop a distributed System Engineering team across Europe. Own and operate core IT services including Windows/Linux servers, Active Directory, virtualization platforms, backup solutions, and database services. Manage and continuously improve VMware, Proxmox, Kubernetes, MSSQL, and PostgreSQL environments. Ensure high availability, performance, capacity planning, backup, disaster recovery, and operational resilience. Act as the escalation point for critical incidents and drive effective resolution across teams. Promote automation, standardization, Infrastructure-as-Code, and operational excellence. Oversee system changes, maintenance activities, releases, and lifecycle management. Ensure compliance with security, audit, licensing, and regulatory requirements. Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and operational procedures. Collaborate closely with Network, Security, and Application teams in an international environment. Manage on-call readiness and operational support processes.
