The Project Manager will lead the planning and execution of IoT hardware projects, solutions and fleet management products from concept to mass production and release.\nThis role requires deep understanding of hardware product development, embedded firmware integration and New Product Introduction (NPI) processes and expertise in project coordination, stakeholder management and agile/hybrid methodologies. You will collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, operations, supply chain, and external vendors to ensure successful delivery of high-quality products on time and within budget. With opportunities for professional growth, this position plays a pivotal role in driving innovation, optimizing workflows, and delivering cutting-edge solutions to clients across various industries.\nRequirements\nObjectives & Responsibilities\nServe as the primary point of contact for Telit Cinterion customers throughout the project lifecycle, maintaining clear communication and alignment on objectives, deliverables, and expectations.\nLead end-to-end project management of hardware and embedded firmware programs from concept through mass production ramp and release for IoT Solutions initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines.\nTrack the execution of NPI processes including design validation, EVT/DVT/PVT builds and transition to mass production as well as financial milestones for revenue recognition and invoicing.\nCoordinate cross-functional teams including hardware, firmware, mechanical engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality assurance to streamline development and deployment processes\nDevelop and maintain project budgets and timelines, tracking milestones and mitigating risks proactively.\nManage stakeholder communications, providing clear updates and ensuring alignment with client expectations and internal objectives.\n Partner with Professional Services, Sales, and customers to gather requirements, define project scope, estimate delivery needs, and develop customer-facing Statements of Work (SOWs).\nResolve delivery barriers through proactive issue management, cross-functional collaboration, mediation, and escalation when appropriate.\nImprove project delivery practices, tools, and processes to increase consistency, efficiency, visibility, and customer satisfaction.\nSupport customer engagements through occasional travel and continuously expand technical and business knowledge in a fast-paced environment.\nRequirements & Qualifications\nMaster's degree in Project Management or Technology Management\n5-7 years of hands-on project management experience in hardware product development and embedded systems.\nProven track record of managing NPI cycles including EVT, DVT, and PVT builds.\nStrong understanding of IoT ecosystems, embedded systems, and cloud-based platforms, full life cycle product development and NPI processes; ability to work with engineering and development teams on technical requirements.\n Familiarity with manufacturing processes, test development, and product certification.\nExperience working with contract manufacturers (CMs), ODMs, and supply chain teams.\nProficient in project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent) and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint).\nExcellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.\nSelf-starter and ability to navigate challenges in a fast paced, innovation-driven environment.\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration or related technical discipline.\nStrong customer-facing communication, collaboration, mediation, and negotiation skills, with the business judgment to manage challenging situations professionally.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPMP (Project Management Professional) or PRINCE2 certification highly desired.\nAgile/Scrum certifications (CSM, PMI-ACP) are highly desirable.\nAbout Telit Cinterion\nTelit Cinterion is a leader and pioneer in IoT innovation and the largest, most cyber-secure Western provider of end-to-end IoT solutions designed to reduce time to market and costs for businesses.
