This position requires not just technical excellence but also the ability to take charge of projects without handholding.\nYou will be responsible for optimizing, scaling, and implementing modernized digital infrastructure using AWS, Terraform, and Git. You will also work closely with engineering and security teams to build and enforce a security-first approach (least privilege access), troubleshoot complex scaling issues across the organization, and help shape the technical roadmap to ensure scalability, resilience, and cost efficiency.\nThe position will report directly to the SVP of Engineering, and the role requires strong AWS technical skills and solid communication skills for collaboration with the rest of the development team, IT Product Management, and QA teams as we continue to grow TelmarHelixa infrastructure.\nRESPONSIBILITIES:\nLead DevOps tasks and initiatives end-to-end, from design through delivery, without requiring step-by-step oversight.\nOptimize, deploy, and manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes (AWS EKS).\nImplement and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation.\nEnhance and support existing and new CI/CD pipelines with Git, driving automation for builds, tests, deployments, and rollbacks.\nCollaborate with security teams to proactively identify and remediate vulnerabilities, enforce best practices, and support compliance requirements.\nTroubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues across distributed systems.\nEstablish and evolve monitoring, alerting, and logging solutions for 24x7x365 visibility into system health and performance.\nPartner with business and technology leadership to improvise and innovate solutions, shaping the long-term infrastructure roadmap.\nMentor junior team members in AWS, promote a culture of ownership, and ensure best practices are followed.\nServe as a key escalation point for outages, performance concerns, and critical system events.\nQualifications:\n5-7+ years of DevOps, Infrastructure, or SRE experience in cloud-native environments.\nDeep expertise with all-things AWS (EC2, ElasticSearch, S3, IAM, Bedrock, EKS, etc).\nStrong hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Git-based CI/CD workflows.\nProficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.\nStrong programming/scripting skills (Python, Bash, or equivalent) for automation and troubleshooting.\nSolid knowledge of high-availability architectures, load balancing, failover, and security best practices.\nAbility to own initiatives, take charge of delivery, and drive outcomes with minimal supervision.\nStrong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, especially security and development.\nExcellent communication skills and the ability to present technical solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nNice to Haves:\nExperience with the following technologies:Data logging and alerting (SIEM)\nData ETL and Scheduling tools, such as Airflow, Glue, etc\n\nUnderstanding data lineage and processing procedures\nExperience and Understanding of Compliance and Legal concepts, such as CCPA/CPRA\nUnderstanding around modern AI Concepts, such as LLM and ML processes and
