Deploy and operate Kubernetes clusters across multiple cloud providers and edge locations.\n- Build and maintain the networking that connects and isolates our edge infrastructure, including VPNs, routing, network policies, and firewalls.\n- Own infrastructure automation for cluster provisioning, configuration, upgrades, and recovery.\n- Manage infrastructure as code with Terraform/OpenTofu and configuration management tools such as Ansible.\n- Build and operate secure runtime environments for customer workloads, including containers, microVMs, and ephemeral sandboxed workloads.\n- Improve cluster reliability, observability, and capacity as the platform grows across providers and regions.\n- Build out Prometheus metrics and alerting for infrastructure and platform observability.\n- Harden workload and network isolation, and help define security boundaries for running untrusted customer code.\n- Participate in on-call and troubleshoot problems across Linux, containers, Kubernetes, networking, and cloud infrastructure.\nWhat You Bring\n- 1-3+ years of hands-on Kubernetes experience in production, including cluster-level operations and troubleshooting.\n- Strong Linux and container fundamentals.\n- Strong networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, NAT, and routing.\n- Infrastructure-as-code and automation experience with tools such as Terraform/OpenTofu and Ansible.\n- Experience working with at least one major cloud provider and an understanding of cloud networking, compute, and storage.\n- Experience diagnosing production issues across multiple layers of the infrastructure stack.\n- Security mindset: you think about attack surfaces, tenant isolation, and running untrusted workloads safely.\nNice to Have\n- Experience operating Kubernetes across multiple cloud providers or regions.\n- Experience with Kubernetes networking and CNI implementations such as Calico.\n- Firecracker, Kata Containers, or other microVM/container isolation technologies.\n- Container runtime experience, including containerd, cgroups, namespaces, or seccomp.\n- Knative or other serverless infrastructure.\n- Experience with ephemeral compute, sandboxing, CI runners, build systems, or other platforms that execute user-provided code.\n- BGP, WireGuard, or software-defined networking experience.\n- Rancher/RKE2 specifically.\n- Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).\n- Go or Python experience for infrastructure tooling and
