AI Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior LLM / Generative AI Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced AI solutions in the healthcare and insurance domain. You will own the end-to-end AI lifecycle, building scalable systems for summarization, controlled generation, and LLMOps, serving clinicians, insurers, and patients.

Responsibilities:

• Design and build domain-adaptive summarization models for clinical and insurance documents.
• Develop controlled text generation systems for personalized communication (coverage explanations, benefit letters, care pathways).
• Build and manage end-to-end LLMOps pipelines including: Model versioning, A/B testing, Monitoring and drift detection.
• Implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines using structured and unstructured healthcare data.
• Develop guardrails and hallucination mitigation strategies for high-stakes AI outputs.
• Create human-in-the-loop feedback systems to continuously improve model performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, clinical, and data stakeholders.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in Machine Learning / NLP.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with LLMs and Generative AI systems.
• Strong experience with: Text summarisation and generation, Transformer-based models (BERT, T5 GPT, LLaMA, Mistral).
• Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, or JAX.
• Experience with LLMOps / MLOps tools: MLflow, Weights and Biases.
• Strong knowledge of: Prompt Engineering, Fine-tuning techniques (PEFT, RLHF/RLAIF).
• Experience with cloud platforms: AWS SageMaker / GCP Vertex AI / Azure ML.

Good to Have:

• Experience in Healthcare AI / Clinical NLP / Insurtech.
• Familiarity with HIPAA / PHI / PII data handling.
• Exposure to multi-modal models (text + structured data).
• Contributions to open-source or research publications.
