QA Engineer

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer who thrives in an AI-first engineering environment, where AI is leveraged to enhance speed, efficiency, and test coverage. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining automated test frameworks while using AI tools to improve testing processes, generate test cases, and enhance overall product quality. You will work closely with engineering, product, and design teams to ensure high-quality releases and drive a culture of continuous testing and quality ownership.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain automated end-to-end (E2E) test suites using frameworks like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Design and implement test strategies for new features and product enhancements.
• Use AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Copilot, Cursor, etc. ) to generate test cases, improve coverage, and optimise testing workflows.
• Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.
• Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
• Collaborate with developers for shift-left testing and early defect detection.
• Analyse logs, errors, and performance issues using monitoring tools.
• Participate in test planning, execution, and defect tracking.
• Contribute to improving QA processes, standards, and best practices.

Requirements:

• 4-6+ years of experience in QA engineering or test automation.
• Strong experience with automation tools like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript or similar programming languages.
• Experience in API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
• Good understanding of CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc. )
• Experience testing web applications (React/Next.js preferred).
• Strong skills in debugging, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting.
• Good understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies.

Good to Have:

• Experience using AI tools in QA (Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, etc. )
• Exposure to AI/GenAI testing concepts
• Experience with performance testing tools (k6 JMeter)
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Sentry, Datadog).
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Passion for learning new technologies, especially in AI-driven QA.
