The role will build, maintain and optimise cloud-native platforms and Kubernetes environments on AWS, while supporting CI/CD, DevSecOps, automation and observability capabilities.The role will also drive reliability, performance, resilience and capacity improvements, contribute to continuous service improvement, and help standardise SRE tooling, processes and operating models across missions.\nJob Description\nWhat you’ll be doing\nLead SRE practices across the CSM mission and Orchestration SRE team, ensuring platform reliability, security and operational excellence.\nBuild, maintain and optimise cloud-native platforms and Kubernetes environments on AWS.\nDevelop and support CI/CD, DevSecOps, automation and observability capabilities across the platform.\nProvide operational support, incident management, root cause analysis and continuous service improvement.\nDrive reliability, performance, resilience and capacity improvements through engineering best practices.\nLead change management activities and drive standardisation of SRE tooling, processes and operating models across missions.\nContribute to chapter initiatives, capability uplift, knowledge sharing and the adoption of emerging technologies, including AI and automation.\nAbout you\nMandatory requirements:\nMinimum 5 years' experience working as a Site Reliability Engineer, Platform Engineer, or similar role\nStrong hands-on experience with AWS services including EKS, EC2, S3, IAM, SQS, Secrets Manager, Kinesis, Firehose, and Cost Management\nProven expertise in Kubernetes and container orchestration within large-scale production environments\nExperience implementing DevSecOps practices and managing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab\nStrong scripting and automation skills using Python and Bash -
