The company designs and manufactures vehicle telematics and GPS trackers, industrial networking equipment (routers, gateways, switches), electric vehicle (EV) chargers, telemedicine devices, and security hardware, while also offering contract electronics manufacturing services (EMS).

Would you like to join one the fastest growing, multi-national Internet of Things (IoT) companies in the world?

Good, we would like to introduce you to Teltonika. We have been creating IoT solutions for over 25 years, with offices in over 30 countries and more than 3,000 employees worldwide. Despite our growth, we remain a proudly family owed company, founded and headquartered in Vilnius, Lithuania.

In the UK, Teltonika UK operates from our brand-new office in Exchange Quay, Salford, Greater Manchester. Since opening in October 2024, we’ve grown to a team of 30 colleagues across Business Development, Technical Support, Pre-Sales and Business Support. Our people are our strength and share our vision to become a global leader in the IoT field, inspiring people to innovate, scale their businesses and change lives.

Now, we’re looking to recruit an experienced, talented HR Manager to continue growing our presence in the UK and Ireland, through developing a motivated, professional and successful workforce, focused on delivering exceptional service, and in turn growing our customer base.

This role reports to the UK&I CEO, with close liaison with HQ and European based People & Talent Acquisition teams.

In this role, you will:

  • We are growing, which means we are recruiting and onboarding at pace. We need you to take responsibility for achieving our growth plans in the UK, working with local Talent Acquisition and colleagues in our group TA team.
  • Develop the people plan. We plan to grow to 60 colleagues in the next year, before growing further again. We need you to deliver a plan to align to the 5-year UK strategy.
  • Oversee a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Develop and update local People policies to meet local market demands, whilst ensuring alignment to Group.
  • Ensure employment legislation compliance throughout all of our people processes and operations.
  • Provide support and training to line managers as required, whilst also supporting formal processes as required, ensuring sound HR advice is being used as required.
  • Develop our employee engagement and talent retention plan, ensuring our colleagues feel valued and understand their contribution to the company.
  • Work closely with both HQ and European office colleagues to deliver on company-wide people initiatives and milestones.
  • Develop strong people analytics and reporting to the UK CEO and group.
  • Supporting as required with other tasks that crop up to support the success of the business.

What we expect from you:

  • Demonstrable experience as a Senior HR Generalist, providing you with a breadth of credible, lived experiences and strong understanding of GB employment law and best practice.
  • A Human Resources qualification such as BS/MS degree or CIPD Level 5 in Human Resources/People Management.
  • Proven experience in partnering with and advising a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Strong experience in attracting, recruiting and onboarding new employees in a way that creates a positive relationship with new colleagues from day 1.
  • Excellent communication skills and either be, or have the potential to be, a very strong leader.
  • Experience of working with HR management systems and producing insightful data reporting.
  • Experience in developing strategy documents and business cases, to support our people plan.
  • Confident experience in taking full and sole ownership of employee relations cases.
  • Ability to remain composed in challenging situations including during disciplinary hearings or conflicts.
  • You are a dynamic, resilient and results driven HR professional.
  • You are comfortable shaping longer-term plans whilst delivering on the day-to-day work that will make them happen.
  • Experience of working with colleagues across European regions would be beneficial.
  • Experience of setting up an apprenticeship programme would also be advantageous.

What we offer:

  • A starting salary of £45,000.00 per annum.
  • Flexibility to work around our core hours of 8am - 5pm, with expectation of 4 days in office.
  • Enhanced annual leave (25 days) + your birthday off each year. We are closed at Christmas.
  • Free on-site parking and 2-minute walk to Exchange Quay tram-strop.
  • Free onsite wellness centre, weekly gym class schedule and community events.
  • Remote GP, second medical opinion, counselling and physiotherapy access.
  • Nationwide employee discounts including tech purchase and Cycle to Work scheme, via our perks partners.
  • Life assurance.
