Our people are our strength and share our vision to become a global leader in the IoT field, inspiring people to innovate, scale their businesses and change lives.\nNow, we’re looking to recruit an experienced, talented HR Manager to continue growing our presence in the UK and Ireland, through developing a motivated, professional and successful workforce, focused on delivering exceptional service, and in turn growing our customer base.\nThis role reports to the UK&I CEO, with close liaison with HQ and European based People & Talent Acquisition teams.\nIn this role, you will:\nWe are growing, which means we are recruiting and onboarding at pace. We need you to take responsibility for achieving our growth plans in the UK, working with local Talent Acquisition and colleagues in our group TA team. \nDevelop the people plan. We plan to grow to 60 colleagues in the next year, before growing further again. We need you to deliver a plan to align to the 5-year UK strategy. \nOversee a performance appraisal system that drives high performance. \nDevelop and update local People policies to meet local market demands, whilst ensuring alignment to Group. \nEnsure employment legislation compliance throughout all of our people processes and operations.\nProvide support and training to line managers as required, whilst also supporting formal processes as required, ensuring sound HR advice is being used as required. \nDevelop our employee engagement and talent retention plan, ensuring our colleagues feel valued and understand their contribution to the company. \nWork closely with both HQ and European office colleagues to deliver on company-wide people initiatives and milestones.\nDevelop strong people analytics and reporting to the UK CEO and group. \nSupporting as required with other tasks that crop up to support the success of the business.\nWhat we expect from you:\nDemonstrable experience as a Senior HR Generalist, providing you with a breadth of credible, lived experiences and strong understanding of GB employment law and best practice.\nA Human Resources qualification such as BS/MS degree or CIPD Level 5 in Human Resources/People Management. \nProven experience in partnering with and advising a wide range of stakeholders, including senior leadership.\nStrong experience in attracting, recruiting and onboarding new employees in a way that creates a positive relationship with new colleagues from day 1. \nExcellent communication skills and either be, or have the potential to be, a very strong leader. \nExperience of working with HR management systems and producing insightful data reporting. \nExperience in developing strategy documents and business cases, to support our people plan. \nConfident experience in taking full and sole ownership of employee relations cases.\nAbility to remain composed in challenging situations including during disciplinary hearings or conflicts. \nYou are a dynamic, resilient and results driven HR professional.\nYou are comfortable shaping longer-term plans whilst delivering on the day-to-day work that will make them happen.\nExperience of working with colleagues across European regions would be beneficial.\nExperience of setting up an apprenticeship programme would also be advantageous. \nWhat we offer:\nA starting salary of £45,000.00 per annum.\nFlexibility to work around our core hours of 8am - 5pm, with expectation of 4 days in office.\nEnhanced annual leave (25 days) + your birthday off each year.
