In this role, you will serve as a key technical advisor during the sales process, working closely with both internal teams and prospective clients to design, present, and validate tailored connectivity solutions.\nYou will bridge the gap between customer requirements and Teltonika Networks’ technical capabilities, helping drive successful solution adoption while ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.\nTeltonika’s Networking Solutions Business Unit develops and manufactures industrial and enterprise connectivity equipment, including routers, switches, gateways, and modems. Our devices power critical applications across Industry 4.0, Smart City, and Green Energy sectors.\nThis role is ideal for a technically driven professional who enjoys combining engineering expertise with customer engagement in a fast-growing global IoT organization.\nIn this role, you will:\nAct as a technical pre-sales advisor, supporting the sales team in customer engagements, solution design, and deal qualification.\nSpend approximately 50% of your time in client-facing activities, including meetings, presentations, demos, and workshops.\nTravel up to 50% to customer sites, partner locations, and industry events.\nConsult clients and internal stakeholders on device- and solution-related technical topics.\nDesign and propose end-to-end IoT and networking solutions based on customer requirements.\nDeliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept (PoC) deployments.\nSupport integration of Teltonika Networks products into customer environments through hands-on guidance.\nCollaborate with sales, product management, and R&D teams to align solutions with market needs.\nIdentify customer pain points and proactively recommend optimized technical solutions.\nPrepare and maintain technical documentation, proposals, and solution architectures.\nConduct training sessions and workshops for clients, partners, and internal teams.\nTroubleshoot and resolve technical issues during pre-sales and pilot phases.\nServe as a liaison between customers and Teltonika Networks R&D for complex technical requirements.\nWork hands-on with Linux-based systems, industrial protocols, networking technologies, and third-party integrations.\nRequirements\nWhat we expect of you:\nTechnical or engineering degree (Networking, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or related field) or equivalent experience.\nExperience in a pre-sales, solutions engineering, or customer-facing technical role is highly preferred.\nStrong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.\nSolid understanding of networking fundamentals and internet technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/FTP, etc.).\nKnowledge of telecommunication systems, including cellular technologies (2G, 3G, 4G, LTE).\nHands-on experience with routers and networking equipment.\nExperience configuring:\nVLANs and QoS\nVPN technologies (IPSec, L2TP, OpenVPN, DMVPN, SSTP)\nFirewalls (IPTABLES or similar)\nFamiliarity with Linux-based systems, preferably OpenWRT or embedded environments.\nAbility to create clear, structured technical documentation and solution designs.\nScripting basics (bash/ash) and understanding of AT commands.\nStrong troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and problem-solving
